Coffee and Friends

Good morning!  First let me apologize for the crummy photo, our skies are so dreary today and artificial light made it even worse.  I love these little coffee cups, they make the perfect little gift for someone who likes coffee.  I filled this one with coffee flavored Werther's candy.  The DSP is Eastern Elegance and I used Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, and Coastal Cabana card stock.  Thanks for stopping by!

Chevron Burlap

Good evening!  Today I have another wreath to share.  I found this pretty Chevron burlap so I just had to make another wreath.  The berries on the flower are actually jingle bells.  This was really quick and easy and I love the end result.  Thanks for stopping by!

Season of Style

Good Saturday morning!   Today I have another Christmas card to share.  I  used several patterns from the Season of Style DSP collection.  I don't always like every pattern in the pack but not the case with this one, they are all gorgeous.  Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend!

Ornament Keepsake

Good morning!  This is another card we are making at my September Christmas class.  I used the Ornament Keepsake stamp set which is still available to order but doesn't appear in any current catalog.  I love this set and was glad when Stampin' Up! announced it was still available.  Thanks for stopping by!

EEEK!

Good morning!  Today I have more Halloween treats to share.  The tubes are filled with gum balls.  I used Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set again, the images are perfect size for the tops.

Sadie has already claimed these to give to her classmates which makes me happy since they are so easy to make.  She loves to punch so I am sure she will enjoy making them.  Thanks for stopping by!

Witches Brew Washi

Good morning!  Today I have some cute Halloween treats to share.  I used Witches Brew Washi tape to decorate the sides of these little tins.  Then I used a stamp from Halloween Bash for the top along with a character from the retired Spooky Bingo Bits.  The Washi tape makes this a quick and easy project.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Thanksgiving

Good Saturday morning!  I have a Thanksgiving card to share today, we made this one at my monthly punch class this week.  I don't send very many Thanksgiving cards but I do decorate and I think this cute little gobble-gobble(Dalton's word for turkey) will be sitting on my mantle this year.

Here is a close up of Mr. Gobble, Gobble.  Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

happy halloween

Good morning!  Today I have a little Halloween treat to share.  The card stock colors are Tangerine tango, Basic Black, and Very Vanilla.  I used die from the Labels collection to cut the bag topper.  The DSP and stamp set are both retired and I am sure the recipient will not mind.

Here is a side view.  I used a 4x 6 cellophane bag to hold the candy corn.  Thanks for stopping by!

Spread the Joy

Good morning!  My son changed the windows out in his house and gave me the old ones and they have set here for months just begging to have a new purpose.  I finally just took the time and made this one.  I used "Life" as my theme.  The chalkboard papers are some I found when we were at the beach.

I used this sentiment from Spread the Joy stamp set which is available on the SU website.

This one is very rustic as you can see, a lot of the paint is chipping and some of the window panes are barely staying in.  I like this look but I have 8 more window so I think I will spray paint the next one.  Thanks for stopping by!

More Coffee

Good morning!  I saw these little coffee cups on Pinterest and loved the idea.  They are very easy to make and would be a cute gift idea for the coffee lover.  I made a little tag to match.  I also made a gift card which I will show you tomorrow. I added coffee flavored candies to the cup.  Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee and Friends

Good morning!  I had a little time to play with the Perfect Blend stamp set yesterday so I made this gable box.  I used Season of Style DSP.  I made several other projects that I will share with you later this week.  Did you notice my "boo-boo" on this one, I didn't until I started typing this post.  I used crumb cake on my one of my other projects and since you have to stamp at least three times  for the paper piecing just to get one cup, I went ahead and stamped a bunch of each step.  Well, I picked up the wrong cup and added it to my box.  I should of put one with a Baked Brown Sugar "cozy" instead of the Crumb Cake one.  I think I can fix it by just adding another layer on top of the wrong one.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of You

Good Monday morning!  A few weeks ago our Missions Minister at church announced that he needed cards to give to the residents of Nursing Homes when they were visited.  I love that idea so with the help of my friend Jennifer we got 15 cards made Saturday.  This is two of the designs.  I wanted to have a masculine and a feminine card so this is what we came up with.  Hopefully we will be able to supply plenty more in the coming weeks.  Thanks for stopping by!

Regarding Dahlias # 3

Good Saturday morning!  My husband has been out of town for a few days and I didn't realize how much help he is with the kids.  I have missed him.  I totally forgot to feed the horses yesterday(that is just one of his regular chores that hasn't gotten done) and I thought of it about 2:00 am this morning...oops!  I guess they will get a little extra this morning.   On to my card, this is the last one for my Spotlight class using the stamp set, Regarding Dahlias.  Very CAS.  Thanks for stopping by!

Magnetic Platform Available!

Good news!  the Magnetic Platform for the Big shot is available to order now.  There was a problem with supply and demand for a while but SU now has a supply for the HUGE demand.  I would have to say that this is the one product I use every single day, I love it.  It holds the framelit in place over your stamped image as it is being cut, no more slips!  Here is a link to it in the Online Store.  Anyone who purchases it during the rest of the month of September from me will be in a drawing for the Bitty Banners Framelit dies(which just so happens to be my favorite!).

New Clearance Rack Items

Good morning!  New items have been marked down on the Clearance Rack.  Just click the Shop Online icon in the upper right hand of this page to find the Clearance Rack.

Hello, You

Good morning!  Today I have card #2 from my Regarding Dahlias Spotlight class.  This time I used Versa Mark and stamped it on Baked Brown Sugar to make the background.  Gotta run busy day ahead, thanks for stopping by!

Regarding Dahlias

Good morning!  Today's card is part of my September Spotlight class where each month I choose a stamp set to "spotlight" by centering a class around it.  The class is free to those who purchase the stamp set.  This month the stamp set is Regarding Dahlias.  My colors for this card are Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Old Olive, and Whisper White.  The dahlia is stamped 3 times and layers cut out and then stacked together with dimensionals, it is very pretty but hard to pick up with the camera.  Thanks for stopping by!

Flowering Flourishes

Good morning!  I used the Versa Shadowing technique for this card that we made last night at Technique class.  You stamp your image in Whisper White ink and thin outline it with a Versamark pen.  The card stock colors are Basic Gray and Pink Pirouette.  Thanks for stopping by!

Prettty Packaging

Good Monday morning!  I love pretty packages under my Christmas tree, the contents can be inexpensive but I want to the package to be special.  In the Holiday catalog, we have some new Extra-Large Gift Boxes available which measure 4 3/8x6x6.  I used some DSP and Burlap Ribbon and the Gift Bow Bigz die to decorate this one.

Here is a view of the top of the box.  I was a little hesitant to purchase  the gift bow die but I am so glad I did, I have seen a lot of projects on Pinterest that I am going to give a try very soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

WOW!!!!

I just had to pop back in and "brag" !!!!  I just went to the Stampin' Up! website to check if my last order had shipped and I saw a very familiar card.  One of my cards is posted there, now this may not be a big deal to most people but it is to me!

I really liked this card when I made it but five minutes after I made it someone came in and bought it, I'm glad I got a photo first.  Now I am going to have to remake it.   Here is the link

Toxic Treats

Good Sunday afternoon!  I have a Halloween treat to share with you today.    I do a lot of Fall craft shows and therefore I have to make a variety of treats for all the upcoming holidays and make a lot of each one as well.  I think this one was easy enough to make in bulk and cute enough to sell.  I am usually trying to get everything done the week before an event but decided to start early this year so that I can enjoy the holidays without being rushed. I use up a lot of retired paper for these as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Gratitude

Good evening!  I hope you aren't tired of seeing this stamp, Magnificent Maple.  I really like it and still have a few more projects using it  to show you.  I love this CAS look with the embossed Very Vanilla and just a pop of color, it draws your eye more to the central element, the maple leaf.  I wish we had a framelit for this stamp because I have hand cut a lot of these leaves.  Thanks for stopping by!

Prince of Peace

Good morning!  I found these little jars at Target and thought they would be perfect for cupcakes in a jar gifts for the teachers this Christmas. My girls think they have to give cupcakes in a jar every year as part of their teacher gifts.  Have you seen the Single Christmas Stamps, they are all pretty but this one is my favorite and is called Prince of Peace.

These are available to order now, you can click here to see a better photo.  Thanks for stopping by!

Witches' Brew

Good morning!  Don't you just love Washi Tape, it is so easy to work with and really adds just the right touch to your project.  I used Witches' Brew and Gingham Garden for this card.  The sentiment is part of Halloween Bash and the cute little spider is part of Googly Ghouls.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Fall

Good morning!  I think Fall is finally here, this morning the air had that brisk feel that comes with Fall and that really gets me excited about decorating for the holidays ahead.  I was inspired by this little pumpkin and went to work on making one this morning.  I used some retired DSP to make the layers then added a Magnificent Maple leaf and a tag.

Here is a better view of the tag.

I love how this turned out and hope to make a few more for my Thanksgiving table.  thanks for stopping by!

Magnificent Maple

Good morning!  Today's card is an attempt to do a 'vintage' type card for a customer.  I will be the first to admit I am not very good at vintage but I will give it a try once in a while.  The DSP is from the Etcetera collection and I added a strip of Baked Brown Sugar Ruffle Stretch Trim.  The Pool Party panel is embossed with the Pretty Print folder.  I used the ticket punch to punch out the sentiment and added it to an In Color Boutique embellishment. Thanks for stopping by!

Eat if You Dare

Happy Labor Day!  I got to spend some time this weekend with family, some I hadn't seen in a few years.  Today I have a little Halloween treat made with the mini muslin bags from the Holiday Mini catalog.  I used Tangerine Tango to add some circles with sponge daubers.  The tag is cut out with a die from the Chalk Talk set and the sentiment is part of the Halloween Bash stamp set.  Thanks for stopping by!
