2013 Favorites # 4

November

December

Good morning!  This is the last of the 2013 Favorites, I hope to stamp some today so I will have new projects to share.  I worked on Dalton's room yesterday but still have more painting to do today.  I had a hard time keeping him from "helping" me paint.  Thanks for stopping by!

2013 Favorites #3

August

September

October

Good morning, it is so cold here!   Big plans today...Dalton's room is getting a  makeover.  He requested blue, green, and yellow paint and a sign for his room....No Girls Allowed...he is kinda out numbered.  He loves the movie Toy Story so I ordered him some Toy Story bedding last night.  He also wants shelves added to his room, he likes to line up his toys and is methodical about them being categorized.  I hope to try to sneak in a few minutes to stamp today as well, I have a preorder from the occasions catalog that is still in the box.  Thanks for stopping by!

It is hard to believe 2014 will be here in a couple days!  My life is so good right now....even with the craziness  and busyness of the little ones...I know they will grow up so fast and I really don't like to think about that.  Blessings to you in 2014!

2013 Favorites

January

February

March

Good morning!  I have not had a lot of stamping time lately, my kids are out of school until Jan 6 so my days are  spent with them until they go back to school.  I treasure this time!  Yesterday I took the two older girls shopping and left the two little ones with my husband.  As soon as I walked in the door, he grabbed his coat and took off..I think Ava and Dalton had been a little mischievous...or in his words...whiney,demanding, fussy, wouldn't share,messy,....yep, that's what 3 and 4 year olds do!

Since I don't have anything new to show you, I have picked my favorites from 2013 to share for the next few days.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello....

Good afternoon, hope you had a wonderful Christmas, ours was jam packed with all the goodness Christmas brings.  Today I have a Sneak Peek of some products from the Occasions catalog which starts January 3.  The DSP is gorgeous and is called Retro Fresh.  The banner was cut with one of the new Banner Framelits and the stamp is from a Valentine set called Love you to the Moon.

I wanted to take some photos of my kiddos on Christmas but they were totally uncooperative.  I managed to get a few but then my camera mysteriously disappeared.  When I found my camera(it was hanging on the back of the Christmas tree), some of the pictures had mysteriously disappeared.  Here are a few not so good ones.

It is very hard to get 4 kids to stand still especially with my husband behind me making faces at them.

Finally all of them standing together but of course not all of them looking at the camera.  So, I took them outside and it was worse...

Dalton ran off and Shelby ran after him and Ava didn't want to be outside.

And then good all four of them standing together ....except Ava is crying, Dalton is trying to get away, and Shelby has a sucker in her mouth....I give up!  Next year I am hiring a professional photographer!

MOJO MONDAY

Good morning!  I haven't done a MOJO Monday sketch in a long time and thought this one was really cute.

I used some new products from the upcoming  SAB catalog.  The DSP is called Sweet Sorbet, I love these colors together and the pop of black just makes them prettier.  The banner is made with another SAB item, a pennant punch.  The stamp set, Perfect Pennants, is in the new Occasions catalog.  If you didn't get a catalog from me in the mail and want one, come by and pick one up.

Prince of Peace

Good morning!  I finished up all my custom orders and they are delivered!!!  This one was for our pastors grandmother, the sweetest lady I know.  She wanted something to give to the ladies in her Sunday School class for Christmas.  I put the sentiment on the front and punched an oval in the back so the wrapped candy would show through.

She decided on these little nugget jars made with the Perfectly Preserved stamp set and framelit dies.  She needed 14 of them.  She thought she might add a little something and found these angel ornaments but wanted to personalize them.  She said her handwriting wasn't steady so asked me to do it, I stressed over this for days because I was afraid of messing them up.

So, then we had to come up with something to package them in so I decorated some white bags with a doily and a sentiment.  She was very pleased!

See Ya Later

Good morning!  I have had a box of goodies from the Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration sitting here for  two weeks and haven't had time to even open the box.  I finally made time this morning to get one project done.  The stamp set, See Ya Later, is a SAB set and it has a lot of cute quips and my kids I know I use a lot of little quips to them,  the little ones still love it.  For example Dalton is referred to as "Little Boy Blue" and Ava is "Little Miss Muffett" and Sadie is "tootsie toes".  The one they dislike is "Nothing is instant, not even pudding"  which makes Shelby mad every time.  The pretty DSP is available soon and is called Watercolor Wonder.  Thanks for stopping by!

And a few single cups as well.

Oh, What Fun!

Good morning!  I am happy to say I knocked out another custom order yesterday but I took on another one so I still have two to go.  My customer requested something with these peppermint sticks in it and I had a few of these tubes left over from another project so i made a little holder for them.

The tubes hold three sticks.

I made thirteen of these cuties!

And six more gift card holders....

This is my favorite image from the Color Me Christmas stamp set.  I worked six hours without taking a break yesterday but it felt good to send this order out the door.  Thanks for stopping by!

For You

Good morning!  Today I have another gift card holder, this time I used the Santa from Color Me Christmas.  The Pop N Cuts die makes it easy.  Here is an inside view after I added the ribbon.

I'm still working on custom orders so a busy day ahead, thanks for stopping by!

Hope & Peace & Joy

Good afternoon!  It has only been four days but it seems much longer since I have had a chance to post anything, the kids have been out of school but hopefully they are going back tomorrow.  Today I have a sneak peek  of new products from the upcoming seasonal catalog.  The Fancy Foil Designer Vellum is gorgeous.  I also used a few sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim which can be used like ribbon or the sequins pulled off individually.  This card is really pretty IRL, I used Brushed Gold card stock and embossed the sentiment in gold as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Ho Ho Ho

Good afternoon!  Today I have a Christmas card to share using my favorite stamp set from the Holiday catalog, Santa's List.  I embossed a piece of Lucky Limeade(retired) card stock with the snowflake folder(retired) and added a piece of Season of Style DSP.  The sentiment is from the Oh, Goodie stamp set.

We got a LOT of snow and it is soooo cold outside but it really put me in the Christmas spirit.  I have been baking and decorating and staying inside because I like to look at the snow but not be out in it.  Stay warm!

Warmth and Wonder

Good morning!  Today I have a Christmas card to share using the Perfect Blend stamp set and a sentiment from the hostess set, Warmth and Wonder.  I am liking Baked Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler together.

We put up our Christmas tree last night and the kids decorated it.  Ava and Dalton had fun although they did disagree a few times about who got to put on the favorite ornaments.  Dalton really likes the snowmen and wanted to put all of them on the tree.  This morning I noticed the tree looked a little bare in places but it is their tree and that doesn't bother me.  As I was taking Dalton in to school, he dropped his backpack and when I picked it up, it felt heavy.  When I opened it I knew why the tree was a little bare, he had all the snowmen in his backpack!  He said it was so Ava wouldn't get them while he was at school.  Life is good(and never boring) with a 3 and 4 year old in the house!

Envelope Punch Board Snowman

Good morning!  Isn't this little snowman the cutest!  I saw him on Pinterest and had to make him.  I made a few changes to the original.  He is made using the Envelope Punch Board which can be used  for so much more than just making envelopes.  I hope to get some other things made soon to share.  This little guy holds a little treat which makes him even more special.  Dalton has named him Olaf from the movie Frozen.  If you haven't been to see the movie, it is adorable, Dalton didn't move the whole movie and Sadie who is 10 loved it as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

One Done, Two to Go!

Good morning!  I have been busy getting custom orders done and out the door, two more to go!  The next two aren't as big so I should make my deadline of having it all done by Dec. 15.

I did 27 of these bags.

Twenty eight of these.  They hold a chap stick which I covered to match the outside.

Twenty of these boxes using Box # 2 retired die.

Eight elf bags....

And three coffee totes!

Suzy is one of my best customers  and I know when I see her coming the order will be big!  These are going to school with her kids for classroom treats and teacher treats.  Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas

Good Monday morning!  Everyone from my house went back to school today, this is the first time in over a month that we have been on our regular schedule of things and it feels good.  I haven't got to stamp something for myself in a while so I took a few minutes to do that yesterday.  I think this may be the Christmas card I send out this year.  I used the sentiment from this months Paper Pumpkin and the snowflakes from Festive Flurry cut out with the coordinating dies.  Thanks for stopping by!
