I know what you are saying....another duck card:( ...I can't help it, I love this stamp set. We did this card as a make-and-take at my Occasions open house this past weekend (by the way, Robin you won the $25.00 in SU which was the door prize). I also used Sale-a-bration paper and ribbon as well as the scallop oval punch. Watch for a new look to my blog soon as well as BLOG CANDY.

Fabulous Friend
I saw a card on Splitcoaster Gallery similar to mine which was a case of Beate's(blog Fresh and Fun). I tried to add a link to that card but couldn't get it to go but wanted to share where I got the inspiration. Now on to the card...I used the Forest Friends deer and tree. I first scored my paper into one inch blocks and then pierced on the score lines. Next I stamped the tree and deer. I used the circle scissor to cut the image out and then cut more circles to mat with. the papers are Parisian Breeze. The sentiment is from a set available April 1, Oval All, and the oval punch is also available then. The chocolate brads are from SU as well. Hope you like it. Look for changes to my blog soon, I think you will like it.

Baby Walk in the Park
I did these two cards to show you the DSP in the Occasions mini which will be available April 1. I also used the duck which is part of the Wagon Full of Fun stamp set and the new scallop oval punch. I really like this paper and this pattern is perfect for a baby card, boy or girl, since it has pretty pinks, blues, yellow and green all in the same pattern. Notice that I used the same basic layout but changed things like the border punches, added ribbon to one and not the other, added a little background behind the duck on one, stamped the boy duck twice and popped the wing a little. These are subtle changes but really make a difference.

Matchbox
I made this little 3 drawer caddy using the Stampin' Up exclusive die, Matchbox, which will be available April 1. I made it for my sister who is having a birthday on the 29th(she is probably too tied up with her boys and baseball to check out my blog before she gets it, hopefully). I am going to fill it with tags, buttons and brads for her. It was really quite easy, I cut three boxes and assembled them, then cut the outer wrap from DSP and folded it around the boxes and taped it together. The drawer pulls are brads put through clear beads and then through a hole I punched in the card stock.

Choo Choo
This cute train is part of a set of stamps from the Occasions Mini which will be available for ordering on April 1. Isn't this the cutest, so cute for a little boy's birthday or for a little boys room decor. Also, the theme for our Vbs this year is Boomerang Express and I plan on doing a lot with the train theme there. Don't look too closely at my clouds, this is my first attempt. The train track is also a wheel that is in the Mini.

Crazy Quilt
My mom used to make quilts out of necessity and she used any material she could get so they rarely had pretty matching patterns but I remember a doll quilt she made for me once that was beautiful. We were very poor growing up and I don't remember many Christmases even happening at our house, but one year she made doll clothes and quilts for my sister and me. I wish I had inherited her talent for sewing but I didn't so here is my paper quilt.
I glued 1 1/4 inch paper squares to card stock and then put it through the Big Shot. The paper is Tea Party. Hope you like it.

Lucky Duck
I really like the new set, Wagon Full of Fun, especially the duck. For this card, I stamped the wagon twice, once on whisper white and once on kraft, then cut out just the wood part of the one on kraft, colored it, and popped it. I also used the scallop oval which will be available in the Ocassions Mini starting April 1.
ps. I feel much better today, maybe I can get back to my usual routine soon.

Matchbox
First off let me apologize for the terrible picture, I took 60 pictures and could not get one in focus today. This is two boxes I made from the Matchbox die. It is so fast and easy, you get the box cut and scored, the cover, and three tags from one trip through the Big Shot. It uses a 5x6 1/2 in piece of paper. I used specialty paper, Sweet summer Slumber, for mine. The sentiment is from Matchbox messages which will be available to order starting April 1. The boxes are big enough to hold three candy nuggets, small gift, or you could use them for paper clips on your desk, or just to set around and look cute!

Happy St. Patricks Day
Happy St. Patty's Day, are you wearing your green? I had forgotten I had this shamrock die until Shelby reminded me. I cut her enough to give all her friends one at school. If you were at my technique class Saturday you probably recognize the layout on this card, I used left-overs to make it. I also used one of the tags from the tiny tag set and the corduroy buttons.

Top Note Basket
Today's post is an Easter Basket made from a Top Note Die cut. Here is link to the one I got my inspiration fromhttp://mercedesweber.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html. You can click on the photo to see it larger. It was surprisingly easy to do and didn't take very long at all. I am going to make another one tomorrow and I will write my measurements down so I can share them with you this time. So often I don't have a plan in mind and assemble before realizing I may want to make this again so I don't write anything down. I will tell you this much today, I used 4 Top Notes and cut two of them apart, sponged the edges and glued them back on.
Don't forget to scroll down and leave a comment for BLOG CANDY which I will be giving away on Saturday.

More daisies
I am really like my daisy die cut, for today I used it on a card along with the scallop circle die. Also notice the small scallop oval, that's the new punch that becomes available April 1 along with a new set of stamps called Oval All which is awesome. It is hard to tell from this photograph but this sentiment says Best Wishes.

Daisy Recipe
I have had a few request for the Daisy recipe. It is really quite simple..the Sizzix die has 3 different sizes of daisy on one die. I cut three of each size, the first of which I cut from thicker material ( the cardboard back of the designer packs of paper) which I covered with a matching card stock daisy. Next, I curled the daisy petals upward by pulling the petals through my fingernails. As I layered them I added a little dot of Tombow glue to each layer to hold it in place. The stem is made from a sucker stick which I purchased from Walmart in the candy making section. I used a Kiwi Kiss re-inker to dye it. Last, I used a hot glue gun to attach the center button and to attach the flower to the sucker stick. Hope this helps.

Top Note Purse
Today's post is completely cased from Becky Roberts, a very talented lady. I cut 4 top notes, 2 pixie pink and 2 black with polka dots and used the large Sizzix scallop circle for the top. I didn't photograph a side view but the box that is sandwiched between the Top Notes is black and the handle is ribbon pulled through and knotted. Very easy to make and so cute!

Easter Treats
Today I have an Easter treat made using the Sizzix Top Note Die and the Big Shot. I bought these little marshmallow chicks and bunnies thinking my girls would love them but they didn't like them so I guess they will be treats for my little 2 year old Sunday School class. I think they will eat just about anything I take to church, today I gave them carrot sticks, cookies, and animal crackers and they loved it. Hope you have a relaxing Sunday!

My challenge
Today I challenged myself...my husband came in my craft room and was looking around while I was working and commented that I probably didn't use half of what was there. And I knew he had summed it up. So I gave myself a challenge..to make a project with things I hadn't used in a while or had never used. I was surprised to find stamp sets still unmounted and how little I use things I think I have to have. this card is not my typical style but I think I kinda like it. Leave me a comment about what you think.

Pretty Daisies
I just love how these turned out...I used the Sizzix Daisy die which has three sizes of flowers. I cut three of each size and bent the petals up, then glued the layers together and then adhered the whole flower to a sucker stick which I inked in Kiwi Kiss with a re-inker. I arranged them in a cute vase and now they are ready to give as a gift or I might just keep them for myself.

True Blue Friend
For today's post I used my favorite paper from the new Stampin' Up line, Parisian Breeze, I am going to have to order another pack already. The stamps are from the set, Simple Friendship. I used Ruby Red for the base and the gingham pattern has polka dots on the back. I stamped the butterfly in Baja Breeze and cut it out and added Martha Stewart tiny pearls.
I also want to share a project from my friend, Robin. She used the Sizzix die, pillow box, to make this cute treat holder which she filled with mints. She plans to give these to the people we visit in nursing homes and to shut-ins through a new program we are starting at our church. I think that is such a sweet and caring gesture. Thanks, Robin.

Bunny Hop
I got a new Easter stamp! Isn't she so cute..this is a stamp from Paper Pretties called Bunny Hop. I colored it with Copic markers, not bad for the first attempt but I do need more practice. One of my girls has brown hair and the other is blond, well you know I got in trouble from little Blondie so I am working on a blond girl. I should have stamped the sentiment in a darker color so it would show up better, it says "hippity, hoppity Easter is on its way".
