How Picnic Basket Will Travel
Good evening! Just so you know this week has been deemed "Play Week" at my house which means I will not be in the office to stamp all week. A couple years ago money was tight at our house so instead of taking a real vacation we did all the local fun summer things and the girls asked me a few weeks ago if we could do it again. The one thing they loved the most was having picnics, you see my PB&J sandwiches are the absolute best or so they say! So, yesterday's play meant packing up the picnic basket and heading to Venture River which is a fun water park. Today was a trip to the zoo with picnic basket in tow. Tomorrow is another swim day somewhere(haven't decided where yet) and of course the picnic basket will travel with us. I will have a picture to share tomorrow of the trusty picnic basket and maybe even a few from the zoo.

WHEEEEE!!!
Happy Monday! Today I have a card using the stamp set Recess from the Summer Mini. This is a super cute set and I think it will be perfect for some scrap book pages I am working on. Dalton loves to go to the park and play and his favorite thing is the BIG slide. He by-passes the little slide and goes straight for the biggest one. Every time he goes down he says Wheeee!. I wish the image had been a little boy on the slide but I will still use it for a page about the park. The DSP is paper that retired a long time ago, I am trying to use up some of my retired papers and I can always use a kid birthday card. Thanks for stopping by!

On the Grow
Good morning! My morning has been more than hectic, it has been crazy...the kids are not cooperating at all, they are bickering with each other and Dalton is right in the middle of it. Now that Dalton is two I have taken the pacifier from him and he is doing really well without it, he hasn't asked for it at all but he is a little restless at night. Now potty training is a different story, he tells me he needs to go and when we get to the bathroom it is all about getting toilet paper and washing hands and then a few minuetes later I find he has gone in his pull-up. Oh well, maybe too much all at once.
I did mange to get a card done with all the craziness going on. I got inspiration from this card. I really like the On the Grow stamp set, it is a lot of fun to color. If you asked for a catalog to be mailed, you should have gotten them by now. I have a few left but will not order anymore until July 1, so if you need one let me know soon.

BBQ Time
Good evening! Today I have a cute invitation for a BBQ which is perfect for July 4. It is hard to see but the whole front panel is attached to a 3x3 envelope and raises up to reveal the pocket. Inside the pocket is all the info about the BBQ. I got almost finished with this card and got an ink smudge so I added the paper pieced watermelon to cover it up. Since I had a pieced watermelon, I also pieced the grill. The DSP is from the Build a Bear package. Hope you like it!

Friend
Good afternoon! I have a CAS sneak peak today using the stamp set Delicate Doilies and a few new In colors. The card stock is Lucky Limeade(my favorite new color~!) and the doilies are stamped using Lucky Limeade, Calyspo Coral, and Wisteria Wonder. The DSP is from Just Add Cake.
I am working on the details of a Ribbon Share from the new catalog, I will post the details tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

My Baby is Two!
Good afternoon! We had a super busy weekend so I took yesterday off to recuperate, I did come in to my office but only did paperwork. I had Open House on Friday and Saturday and then Saturday afternoon was Dalton's (my grandson) birthday. He turned two and terrible doesn't even start to describe him right now. He never stops moving, not even when he sleeps.
He loves the water...... the pool, the bathtub, a rain puddle or even a spill in the floor. He is already jumping in the pool with no fear what so ever. Before he jumps he does a little dance which is hilarious. That is what he is doing in this photo and of course the girls are more than glad to catch him but then he is right back out to do it again.
I do have a stamped project to share using the stamp set My Friend from the new catalog. I love the large "hello" image. I used Pocketful of Posies DSP along with Pear Pizazz and Daffodil Delight card stock. I cut the flower with the Fun Flower Bigz L Die.
The winners from my Open House were: Marsha-stamp set, Shelley-DSP, Robin-stamp set, and Ronita-DSP. Just stop by whenever you want to pick up your prizes!

Ain't Love Grand
Good afternoon, rainy day here. Hope you have sunshine where you are! Today's card is from a Hostess Level set in the New Idea Book & Catalog. I just got on to Shelby yesterday for saying "ain't" and when she saw the name of this card she said I told you "aint" is a word. I decided not to color the image in since I have lots of color on the card. The banner was punched with the Petite Pennants Builder punch which will be available for order on July 1.
I am in the process of planning classes so if you see a set in the new catalog that you would like to do a class on, let me know and I will try to get it on my calendar. I will also be doing a ribbon share with the new catalog so be thinking about that.

hello
Good evening! I have had such a fun day stamping with friends at my new catalog Open House. I made this cute little banner using the new In Colors and the pennant punch. The new colors are all yummy but my favorite is Lucky Limeade. It is a very deep green and isn't close to any of the greens we already have. What is your favorite new color?

Butterflies are Free
Good afternoon! I have been busy as a bee making samples for my Open House on Friday and Saturday. This card is a CASE of one from the new catalog and I LOVE it: :) It is so simple but there is just something about it that caught my attention the first time I looked through the catalog and I knew I had to make it. The butterflies are done in the new In Colors which are all beautiful. The big butterfly is cut from Pool Party card stock and the bottom layer is cut from cork. The DSP is Newsprint. Thanks for stopping by!

Cherish Friendship
Good afternoon! Today I have a Sneak Peak from the new Idea Book & Catalog which will be available July 1. This set is called Cherish Friendship. It has 3 really pretty images to color, a chair with a basket of flowers, a big goose, and this bowl of cherries. I love to color so this one was high on my wish list. I used Jolly Holiday DSP(soon to be retiring) along with Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, and Very Vanilla card stock. It is kind of hard to see in the photo but I used Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around the second layer and also added it to the big Cherry Cobbler button. Thanks for stopping by~!

Kids Punch Class
Good Saturday morning! I woke up in the mountains this morning and it is beautiful! There is something about this place that when I am here all is good, it is home.
Today I have a cute little punch turtle to share, this is one of the projects we will make at my kids punch class. I did a trial run with my girls and they loved him, we will make this project plus 4 more animals at this class and then next week the project will be a lunch bag scrapbook. I used 2 1/2 in circle, 2 3/4 in circle, 3/4 in circle, word window punch, large oval, and the slit punch(which I think is retired but could be cut by hand). I cut two circles for the body with dimensionals between them. Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You Baby
Good morning! Here are the Thank You cards I mentioned in my post yesterday. They are just a single sheet rather than a card. I used Pink Pirouette card stock and Nursery Suite DSP. The sentiment is from the stamp set Curly Cute. I stacked them with the envelopes and tied it up with the striped Pink Pirouette wide grosgrain ribbon. This is something I am sure a new mother needs and was very easy to make. I have a ton of new products from the new catalog just waiting to be used so check back next week to see some new stuff.

Baby Bundle
Good afternoon! We are leaving town today to attend my husband's family reunion and while there we will be going to a baby shower for one of my favorite nephew's(John Jacob you know you are my fave!). This is the card I made using stamps from the set, Baby Bundle, and DSP from Nursery Suite. My photograph didn't turn out very well but this is darling IRL. I also made a set of Thank You cards for her to send as part of my gift to her which I will show you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by!

Locks of Love
Good afternoon! I don't come to my my craft room until afternoon on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I spent the morning getting us packed up for a trip this weekend. I also had hair appointments for me and the girls and I have to tell you how proud I am of my Sadie. Sadie has beautiful long hair and most of her life it has been long so we were just going for a trim. Our hairdresser was telling us about the Locks of Love event that they held yesterday. When she got in the chair and the hairdresser asked her how much to cut she said, "Cut it all off, I want to donate it to somebody". I couldn't believe it and immediately teared up and told her to make sure that was what she wanted to do. She had her mind made up and donated 8 inches of hair! I am so proud of her. I took photos with my phone but don't know how to download them to the computer.
Anyway, I had better finish this post so I can go blow my nose again! Today's card is another one from the set I made using the stamps Touch of Kindness. Again, the same layout and colors. I love birds and this is my favorite image from the set. Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking About You
Good Monday morning! After I posted the card using the stamp set Touch of Kindness, I got an email from a follower asking if I would care to make up a set of cards that she could purchase and she requested I use every stamp in the set. Of course, I love a good challenge! So, today I am sharing #2 of the 5 cards I made for her. I kept the same basic design and the Play Date paper but added a little something new to each of them. Make sure you stop by tomorrow to see card # 3.

Touch of Kindness
Good afternoon! I am late posting today, I had to go to the doctor for hip pain. I think I had too much fun(walked all day) on Wednesday and it caused my arthritis to flair up. But the two booty shots should make me as good as new in a few days but I have to warn you I won't get any sleep for three days either because that is what steroid shots do to me. I also get very hyper so I should crank out a few projects to share. Today's card was made with the stamp set, Touch of Kindness, from the Summer Mini. I love the images from this set and it also has sentiments! I used Playdate DSP along with Real Red, So Saffron, and Bashful Blue card stock. Thanks for stopping by.

Summer is Here!
Good afternoon! Summer is in full swing...the girls picked up report cards at 8:00 yesterday morning and by 10:00 we were on our way to a water park...my girls plus 6 other girls. They had a ball and amazingly no "girl drama" the whole time. This image from the stamp set Summer Fun is what I saw all around my lawn chair yesterday at the water park except they weren't neatly lined up and there was a whole bunch more. I love to color and this set is perfect for that but you could also paper piece the images and it would be cute too.
Don't forget to check the links on my sidebar for all the retiring SU products, some are even discounted. The accessory list has a bunch of dies discounted on it. But hurry, they won't last long.
