Color Me Happy
Good morning! It is such a dreary day outside and I needed a little something to brighten up my work area so here it is. I love Spring and how it just revitalizes everything. I saw a few daffodils bloomed out in my yard yesterday so maybe sunny days are going to be here soon. I made some of these flowers last year for an event and they were a huge success so I am making them again for the Pink Event(a cancer awareness luncheon). I found these little mini cups and bought them not knowing what I would make with them. I'm still playing around with this one, I think I will add some ribbon around the bottom or maybe some green paper cut to look like grass. Hope your day is filled with sunshine and joy!

Bunnies Love Carrots
Good morning! This past weekend Sadie had a birthday party to go to and I got mixed up on the time so we had an hour to kill so I took the kids to the Dollar Tree and gave them a few dollars to spend. Dalton absolutely loves cooked carrots, he asks for them every day. He saw these carrot and had to have them(of course I sneaked in a pack for myself to add to his Easter basket). I gave him his package to hold while we finished shopping and he sang "Bunnies love carrots" over and over which of course embarrassed the girls. I had to decorate them up a bit so I added a tag made with one of the tags from the Hearts a Flutter framelit dies. The jelly beans are from the Spring Sampler stamp set in the Spring mini catalog. Thanks for stopping by!

Summer Smooches
Good afternoon! Busy Monday and looks like the whole week will be that way, I have been working on a custom order for a birthday party and then got a new order this morning for a baby shower. I love it! I do better under pressure. Today's card is one we made at my Big Shot layaway class a couple weeks ago. We cut the flower out using fabric from the summer Smooches collection.
Big Shot Layaway...whats that you say? Well, here is how it works....for 5 months you pay $20.00 toward your Big Shot when you come to class. At the classes we will cut every medium you can cut with the BS and make two or three projects each class. At the end of the five months, you take your Big shot home!!!! I give you FREE shipping and FREE taxes so that your BS only cost you $100.00!
And guess what.....you can participate even if you don't live close enough to come to class. You just mail me the $20.00 each month and I mail you the three class projects and then I have your BS shipped to you at then end of the five months. Thanks for stopping by!

Circus/Carnival Fun
Good Saturday morning! Today I have some more items to share from a birthday party I am working on for a customer. I do a lot of parties (birthday, weddings, baby showers, etc) and each one is priced according to what the customer wants. For a quote, contact me at dls8383@gmail.com , for June weddings my cutoff date is April 30.
The frame which has a retired piece of DSP in it is my favorite. I also like this cute popcorn box that will be filled with goodies. It is only 3 1/2 inches tall and was cut from a Cricut cartridge.
What is a circus or carnival without a giant lollipop's or some candy.
And of course tickets and another treat holder.
I still have the invitation and a couple more treats left to show you so check back for more. Thanks for stopping by!

Hope Happens
Good afternoon! The kids were out of school again today due to icy weather, I have to say that with two four day weekends in a row I am ready for some school time. This is a card I made for a Breast Cancer event I take part in each year called The Pink Event. It is going to be March 16 this year and I have tickets available for purchase. It is a well spent $20.00, there will be vendors(me, included), silent auction items, a very nice luncheon, a fashion show, and speakers.

Good morning! We are making Thank You and Thinking of You cards this week in my Occasions classes. This cute stamp set from the Spring catalog has the perfect sentiment for these cards. It also can be used for Baby and bridal showers. Have a blessed day!

Birth Announcement
And, I have a scrap book page to share as well. I used one of the 12x12 Divided Page Protectors for this one so there is a glare on the photo. Click on the photo to see a closeup of Sadie's "funny face".

Happy Valentines Day!
Good morning! I have had a wonderful morning helping with Sadie's Valentine party at school. We decorated heart shaped sugar cookies, made a Valentine card, and enjoyed fruit kabobs. Now that she is at the Intermediate school, parents don't get invited as often, so I was happy not only to be invited but to plan the party. I am so ready for another occasion so today I have a cute little bunny bag to share. We made these at my punch classes this week. The bag is one I got at a craft store.
Sadie's third grade classmates. A very sweet bunch of kids!
and my sweet Valentine, Sadie!
Thanks for stopping by, tell someone you love them today!

Everybunny
Good afternoon! As I said yesterday, I am ready to move on to something besides Valentines. So, I found this little bunny that was partially colored as I was putting away some scrap paper and made it into a card. The stamp set is called Everybunny and is adorable.

Love
Good afternoon! Today I have one last Valentine to share. I have never made so many Valentines in one year, I counted them up and the number is well over 850 boxes and cards together. These are giant 7 oz Hershey's Chocolate bars. I made 5 of these for my friend Jenny. I thought she wanted the mini bars so I was a bit surprised when she brought these to me.

Valentine Treats
Good Monday morning! My girls finally decided which treats they wanted to make for their classmates. I was so glad they chose easy ones! Have a blessed day!
ps....the Pool Party pencil from Target!
American Girl
Good morning! This is one of the pages I got done last week. I bought a pre-made album at the American Girl Store on our last visit and this is a page from it. I added a few little extras such as some ribbon and the banner. This was from one of the American Girl/Chicago trips we did and since we are going to American Girl/St. Louis next month I thought I had better get these done. Thanks for stopping by!

More Whale Fun
Good morning! I have another whale Valentine to share today. We are doing this card in all three of my Techniques Classes this month. This is a Double Dutch Fold technique and I found a tutorial by searching folding techniques.
Here is what it looks like unfolded.
I couldn't get it to lie exactly flat when folded. Thanks for stopping by!

I Mustache You a Question....
Good afternoon! Wow, am I tired...I just finished an order for a customer...550 Valentine boxes. They were for a fund raiser for the PTO, they will add candy and sell them to the students, the students will designate who they want to sent them to, and then on Valentines Day they will deliver them. I made them in 7 days so you know I have been hard at work. The bad part is that I didn't get a photo of all of them. This was one of my favorites, made with the Fancy Favor box. I cut the mustache with my Cricut and printed the sentiment in MDS. Now, it's time to get started on the Valentines for the kids school parties:)

Love You
Good morning! Today's Valentine card is the one I made for my husband. I know it has some not so manly ribbon on it but I doubt he will even notice that. I chose the sentiment because that is something we say to each other, only I usually say "love ya". Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine Candy Box
Good morning! Today's project is a box that will hold 4 Ghirardelli candy squares, I found the tutorial on Splitcoast. I have 80 of these to make so I better get started. thanks for stopping by!

Pool Party Mail Box
Good morning! I think Target has been checking out the SU catalog, they have these cute mail boxes in Pool Party and Melon Mambo. Last year I got one but the only choice was white, I betcha they sell tons more this year. I love making 3x3 cards especially as Valentines, it is fun to sneak one in the girls back packs or lunch boxes too. I made this little Valentine out of leftovers from other card projects. Thanks for stopping by!

Whales
Good Monday morning! I hope you aren't tired of seeing this cute little whale guy cause I can't stop using it. It is so fun! I made these for Dalton to give to his friends in Sunday School. I think Whale crackers are a staple in all the preschool classrooms at church, I know my 4 year old class loves them so they will be getting this treat from me as well. I used a Labels Framelit die for the bag topper and then stamped the whale and cut it out with the Happy Whale Clearlit die. Love that we have several sentiments with the Oh, Whale set which means I don't have to put it away after Valentines Day. The bag for the Whales is a pretzel bag, I just cut it down a little. Have a blessed day!

Whale You Be Mine
Good morning! My first pick form the Spring Catalog was this stamp set, Oh Whale, and the matching Clearlit die called Happy Whale. I used some DSP from the Sunshine and Sprinkles collection and finished it off with a piece of Melon Mambo Stripped Organdy Ribbon. Thanks for stopping by!
