Best of Snow
Good afternoon! Today I have Christmas cad using images from the Best of Snow and a sentiment from the latest Paper Pumpkin kit. I love this little snowman, I didn't have him from when he was available before so I was glad to see him come back. I am working on custom orders today trying to get caught up so I can get a little shopping done next week. Thanks for stopping by.

Gobble, Gobble
Good evening! I stayed home today and baked......48 small loaves and 4 large loaves of pumpkin bread. Most of it has already been delivered to friends and neighbors but a lot has also been eaten by two little ones. I have a loaf pan that I can bake eight small loaves at once and I emptied it and started refilling for round two. After I got the second batch in the oven, I turned around to start putting icing on the first ones....but there was only four on the plate. Being the detective that I am I was able to follow the crumb path out of the kitchen, up the stairs, and into a bedroom where I lost sight of crumbs. But I did hear some giggles in the closet...there I found Ava(age 3) and Dalton(age 4) with a half eaten loaf in each hand. Those two are never ending fun!
I have another turkey project to share. These were made for a customer who needed 20 for her kids at daycare. Very simple and fun, just add a few M's or candy corn and they are sure to please.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hope You're Nice
Good Monday morning, hope your weekend was wonderful! I have been seeing these cute boxes on several blogs and decided to try one. I didn't have a pattern to go by so I just made it up as I went and it worked on the first try. I made four 3x3 cards with envelopes and probably could fit as many as six.
I used Santa's list for my cards, the card stock colors are Whisper White, Gumball Green, and Cherry Cobbler and the DSP is Season of Style.
Update on my sickies...I took Shelby back to the Prompt Care Clinic on Friday since her doctor was booked solid. He listened to her chest, looked in her ears, told me she had a viral illness and that it just had to run it's course(at this point we were already at 7 days of letting it run its course). He made me feel like I was over reacting and should not have brought her. So, all day Saturday and Sunday we waited for her to get better but she continued to have fever up to 103 and coughed nonstop. So Sunday evening I took her to the ER...she has a double ear infection and pneumonia in one lung. We came home with four medicines and another nebulizer. She and Toy are sitting in their recliners with their blankets, both doing breathing treatments with their cough drops and a row of meds on the table but they are still able to fight over the TV remote. I need a vacation(alone)!!!!

Sick?
Good morning! I am ready to admit...I am a paper collector, addict, hoarder...I have problems when it comes to pretty paper. I am trying to use up some of my "collection" since we will have a Spring catalog very soon and I know I will want all that paper too. I used up a little retired paper on this project as I made several sets. This is an idea I saw on Pinterest to decorate a can of Chicken noodle Soup with a cute little punch chicken.
Speaking of sick...I am taking my Shelby back to the doctor today since she is worse. She still has fever over 102 and coughs constantly.

Good morning! Today I have a gift project, who doesn't love apple cider and even better that it is for the Keurig. I decorated a Tag a Bag Gift Box with a big bow made with the Gift Bow Bigz die in the Holiday catalog.
Three cups fit easily with a little raffia. Thanks for stopping by!

November Paper Pumpkin
Good morning! Today I have a card made from the November Paper Pumpkin kit. I must admit, I haven't even opened all of the kits I have got so far. I just haven't had time and also I am not a big fan of kits, I like to do my own thing. I did add the Gumball Green layer but everything else is from the kit, the Noel panel comes pre-printed and pre-cut and the stars come sewn together.
Warning.....the rest of this post is just a crazy woman ranting!
I guess I spoke too soon on Monday about everyone in my family being on the mend. Yesterday round three hit....I took my son, Seth, to the ER and he now has pneumonia. While at the ER the school called and said Shelby had a fever of 102 so I took her to an After Hours Clinic after I got Seth home and settled in with his breathing treatments going. Luckily Shelby doesn't have pneumonia....yet...only an Upper Respiratory Infection. Sadie has already had her turn with double ear infection and walking pneumonia this month. Dalton still has a cough from his cold but no fever. I sent Ava home so she wouldn't get exposed to all the sickies. I am the only one left standing!!! I must be healthy as a horse because I have spent the last two weeks in either the hospital or a doctor's office and haven't even as much as sneezed...yet.

Christmas Cheer
Good afternoon! Today I have a decorated Kraft Gift Box, these are very affordable at $2.95 for four. They are 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 and are food safe. I plan to put a few homemade cookies in mine. I added a pretty Cherry Cobbler box on top made the Bigz Bow die. Thanks for stopping by!

Holiday Cheer
Good morning, hope you had a wonderful weekend! Today's project is a quick and easy treat holder. I used the Two Tags die and adhered two of the bigger tags together and tied them with cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine. I used the Festive Flurry stamp set and matching Framelit dies to make the snowflakes. I found snowflake York Peppermint Patties that are shaped like snowflakes and they fit perfectly inside.
We had an uneventful weekend YEA!!!! Nobody ended up in the hospital, nothing exciting happened, just a stay at home weekend except to go to church on Sunday morning.

Have the Merriest Christmas
Good morning! I like to have a few little somethings to give to people that I don't buy for at christmas, just to say I am thinking of you. It isn't much but I know I appreciate anything anyone takes the time to make. I used the Christmas Tagables photopolymer stamp set.
Here is a close up. I used one of the dies from Chalk Talk to cut the largest banner and the other one is cut free hand. I tied a little jingle bell on with Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.
This stamp set is not available in any catalog but you order it from my on-line store here

Good afternoon! As soon as I put my card from yesterday on display, someone came in and wanted it but also wanted a little box to go with it. So...here it is.

Best of Snow
Good afternoon! I am the world's worst at sitting at a hospital, it probably is mostly due to working in one for so many years. I have to keep busy so I took a few things with me to work on. This stamp is part of the Best of Snow set.
Update on Toy...the doctors are trying several approaches to get his left lung to respond to the treatments...today they have a machine strapped around his chest that vibrates and hopefully will break up some of the congestion so that the medication can get to where it needs to be. They changed up a few of the medications as well. He was joking around with one of the nurses so that is a good sign that he is improving as well. Thanks for all the emails, comments, and prayers!

Blessing Mix
Good afternoon! This is what I did while sitting at the hospital yesterday. I had an order for 100 Fancy Favor Boxes for Blessing Mix for a church in Dix, IL. Most of the papers are retired as well as some of the card stock but they didn't mind as long as I used Fall colors.
On a personal note...my husband was doing a little better yesterday but today we got some worrisome news...one of his lungs is almost clear from the pneumonia but the left lung is a lot worse. They have started the fourth antibiotic and will do a lung biopsy tomorrow. He is very worried and so am I but I can't let him know so I have had to put on my "acting" hat and pretend this is just a routine procedure. Prayers are MUCH appreciated.
UPDATE: I have had several request for the ingredients of the Blessing mix so here is a photo of the the poem. Click on the photo to enlarge it.
I got this idea from Angie Juda several years ago and we make it every year. The mix is Bugles, Pretzels, Candy Corn, nuts, and fruit(I use Cranberry Craisins). Hope this helps.

CAS Chalk Talk
Good evening! Today I have a CAS card for you. This whole month has been one thing after another that has been difficult to deal with. This weekend has been no exception, my husband was admitted to the hospital Saturday with double pneumonia and renal insufficiency. He feels some better today but the doctor says he has a long way to go before he can come home. I have several custom orders I am working on so I am posting this to let everyone know they may not be ready by the original date planned But I will do my best to get them close to the date. Thanks for stopping by!

Snowflake Soiree
Good morning! Today I have a Christmas card to share. I am loving Soft Sky and Baked Brown Sugar together. I have tried all morning to get this post done...I was closing the stamp pad and dropped it on the completed first version so I started over and then stamped the snowflake that had been used in Baked Brown Sugar onto my Soft Sky pad so had to clean it and start over. I finally got this version finished and edited and loaded and then noticed how crooked it is...but I am done...so turn your head to the side when you look at it! Thanks for stopping by.

Joy Banner
Good morning! I was at a craft show all weekend and it was so much fun, busy and exhausting, but fun. I sold more this year than ever before and want to say a huge thank you to all the people who stopped by my booth. Today I have a banner to share which I made for a lady at our church who does photography to use as a back drop for her Christmas sessions. It turned out pretty and she was pleased and now she wants three more.
Here is a closeup of one section. The rosettes are 3 inches wide and the other pieces are 6 inches long. Thanks for stopping by!

Deck the Halls
Good morning! I am tired....I have been working long hours getting ready for my craft show this weekend. I will set it up this evening and the fun will begin early tomorrow morning. It is a lot of work but I enjoy it. Today's project is made with the Tag a Bag Gift Boxes. They come with a very sturdy box that you just pop together and a clear acetate sleeve that fits over the box. I added two pretty gold ornaments to my box and then added a few other embellishments to the sleeve. Thanks for stopping by!
