Bloomin' Heart

I thought I had my Valentine card inventory built up so that I could concentrate on other cards but then someone came to my shop today and bought 23 cards.  I see that as a good thing but I will have to concentrate on making more this week.  I took advantage of my husband being home today with the littles  and got a few made.

A Nice Cuppa

Slam Dunk Birthday

Today I have a card I made for a friend to give to her grandson who loves basketball and is turning 13 soon.  I used a retired stamp set called Slam Dunk.

Birthday Botanical Blooms

My kiddos are out of school again today for snow.....they are bored, complaining about everything, fussing with each other, eating everything in sight....so I had to get away for a few minutes.  I sneaked off and came to my office and made this card and they have already called me three times.  Spring can not get here quick enough!

The weather is certainly not cooperating today, I had such a hard time trying to get a good photo of this card plus it is very cold outside and the kiddos are out of school again today.  I just want a little sunshine!

Star Wars Valentine

This is going to be Dalton's Valentines for this year, he loved the Star Wars movie.   Now if he sees Harrison Ford on TV he says, "there is Star Wars".  My version of R2D2 is made from at least 5 cards I saw on Pinterest.  I printed the sentiment on my computer and printed it on copy paper and then backed it with card stock.  I am also going to use this card for my Punch Class this month.  Thanks for stopping by!

It's my Party

I have a couple more cards to share today that I made using the Number of Years  and Large numbers Famelit dies.  Ava and Dalton get invited to a lot of birthday parties and I don't always have a card handy for them to take.  So, I made some to keep on hand and since they are going to turn 6 and seven I made up a few of each.  Some of the papers I used for these are from the Cherry on Top paper pad available in the main catalog along with the It's My Party DSP from the Occasions catalog.

Number of Years

I have a birthday card today made with the Large Numbers Framelit Dies and the matching Number of Years stamps.  I added Wink of Stella Glitter to the numbers and I am not sure I like how it turned out, maybe I am not using it right, but mine looks a little dirty when you look at it straight on but at an an angle it looks good.  Since the Wink of Stella Glitter is a new product, here is a video you might enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello, Friend

This is a card for a very dear friend who lives in Alabama.  I haven't seen her in a long time but we keep in touch and always exchange gifts at Christmas and birthdays and sometimes just because.  We talk occassionally but not near enough.  Last year she sent me these daisy dies and this Christmas she sent a stitched die set.  When we first moved to Alabama, I was the most homesick I had ever been which led to depression and Sheri was one of the first people I met and she put a lot of effort into making me better.  We are polar opposites which is probably why we get along so well, she loves to run and excercise (me, not so much), she can cook like a professional chef(me, not at all), her house is spotless(mine looks like a train wrecked in it),she is nearly 6 ft. tall(me barely 5 ft.).  Thanks Sheri, you are one in a million!

Botanical Bundle

This is probably my favorite set in the Occasions catalog.  Here is the card we made today at my Open House.  I took most of the month of December off to be home with my kiddos so I was happy to see all my stamping friends and glad to have 4 new ladies to come join us.

Party with Cake

I needed a "girly" birthday card for a customer and this is what I came up with.  The sentiment is from Party with Cake, the cupcake is from Party Wishes, and the DSP is from the It's My Party Paper Stack.  I also used two of the punches from  the Party Punch Pack to cut out the little cupcake and candle.  All these items are from the Occasions Catalog.  Thanks for stopping by!

Flowering Fields

Today I have another Sneak Peek card, this one is from SAB which starts tomorrow!!!  This stamp set is called Flowering Fields and the DSP is called Wildflower Fields and they are both FREE with a qualifying order.

My kiddos went back to school today, I think they were as ready or more to go back  than I was.   I love having them home but they had started to be bored and missed their friends.  I had planned to get a lot of house cleaning done while they were out but that didn't happen,   I did do a LOT of cooking and baked 30 dozen cookies!  We gave a few dozen away but the Cookie Monster(AKA Dalton) ate most of them.  That boy can eat some cookies!  He would get out of bed and go straight to the refrigerator and lay out the butter to soften and then  lay out the cookie mix.  thanks for stopping by.
