Good morning! Today is 3/21 and I am celebrating with my nephew Jamie. If you aren't familiar with Trisomy 21, I'll explain. Somy means gene and we all have 2 copies of every gene that makes up who we are but in Downs Syndrome or Trisomy 21 there are three copies of gene 21. It can cause mild to severe retardation as well as heart and lung problems and other health issues. Jamie has been the biggest blessing our family has ever had, just the thought of him always brings a smile to my face and when I am around him I am happy. He loves music and sings and plays several instruments, his favorite is the guitar. Jamie was certainly no mistake, God knew we needed him in our lives. I love you Jamie Bush!
