Heartfelt Thanks

Good afternoon, hope you are having a terrific week! Today I am sharing my August thank you cards for all my on-line customers. I used the Daisy # 2 die and cut some So Saffron daisies, two of each size and then ran them through the Big shot with the Dots embossing folder. The flower stem is from the stamp set Heartfelt Thanks as is the sentiment and is stamped in Old Olive. The color combo is Real Red, Temping Turquoise, and Old Olive which coordinates with the Play Date DSP. I would never thought of these colors together which is why I love SU DSP, I get my color combo as soon as I decide which DSP to use and then I just have to come up with the design. Don't forget to scroll down and check out my paper and ribbon shares. thanks for stopping by!

Thanks

Good afternoon! I think I have caught up on laundry and even managed to cook a few meals since my family ate out a lot while I was gone to convention. They did have one good home cooked meal though, my friend Sharon cooked them a wonderful dinner and delivered it so this card is for her. Thanks Sharon! I got this new DSP called Play Date by playing a game at Convention. It was on my wish list so that made me very happy! I just love the owl punch and he is perfect for this paper.

Inspiration Overload

Good morning, I am back from SU Convention and I have soooo much to share! I promise to show you tons of swaps and other things I got at convention. It was definitely inspiration overload to be around 2700 other women who love stamping as much as I do. I was amazed at all the talent and ideas they shared. I had a blast but I am also exhausted(my flight was delayed so I didn't make it home until 3:30 am) so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things starting tomorrow. Today is declared rest day and get caught up on hugs and kisses from my girls. Thanks for stopping by!

Punch Potpourri

Good morning! Today I am sharing the card I used at Convention as a swap. I used the two step bird punch and just punched the bird from DSP for this card but for some of them I stamped the bird from the stamp set, Punch Potpourri. I just love how SU gives us nice punches and then gives us stamp sets to match them, this set also has the flowers that coordinate with the Boho Blossoms punch as well as a butterfly and a heart. The stamp set is a Level 1 hostess set so if you like it call me to set a workshop and it can be yours for FREE.

Winter Post

Good morning! Today I have another Christmas card, my favorite of the ones I have done so far this year. I had an order put in for cards using this set so since I was working on that already I used it in my Christmas Stamp a Stack this past weekend. I have used up all my Old Olive and have to wait until my order comes in before finishing the order but at least I got a good start on it. This card uses the Tri-shutter technique and really makes a pretty card and also allows you to show off your DSP. There is a tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers if you are interested. I used Jolly Holiday DSP which coordinates with Old Olive, Very Vanilla, and Cherry Cobbler.

Trimmings

Good morning! This is the last card in a set using Comtempo Christmas stamps with elegant Soiree DSP. We also decorated a Clear box to put them in but I gave my set away before getting a photo. The card base is actually Cherry Cobbler but it looks more like Real Red here in this photo. The Cherry Cobbler is a deeper color than Real Red which makes it go so well with the Soft Suede. Hope you have enjoyed this set, I do have a few kits left if you are interested you can email me. Thanks for stopping by!

Contempo Christmas

Good morning! I love embossing folders and the one I used for this card is for sure one of my favorites. It is called Elegant Lines and would be perfect for Wedding cards. It is so pretty that I hated to cover up the design so I just punched an ornament, added a sentiment and was done! Quick and easy and pretty! Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas is Love

Good morning! I love the sentiment in this set, "Christmas is love with all the trimmings". This set is Contempo Christmas and is on page 45 of the catalog, I can see it getting a lot of use before Christmas. I used the same color combination as yesterday(Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, and Baja Breeze) but added Cherry Cobbler to this one. If you need to place an order before Saturday, use on-line ordering since I will be at Convention. I will try to check and answer my emails but can't promise I will have time. Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas in July

Thanks for stopping by today, I have a Christmas card to share today. This is part of a set we made 2 weeks ago at Technique Class using non-Christmas papers but I just love this color combination, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, and Baja Breeze. The DSP is from the Elegant Soiree collection and the stamps are from the set, Contempo Christmas. That's it for today, I am getting packed to go to Convention!

Artistic Etchings in a Box

I just love how this little card set turned out, in fact I just sent one out to my little Sis who has a birthday in 3 days. This is the 4th card and the box which hold 4 cards and 4 envelopes. I combined papers from Lover Letter DSP and Newsprint DSP and love how they compliment each other. I have one kit left and it is yours for FREE if you order the Artistic Etchings stamp set from me! (I don't know what I did but my photo looks "stretched out"...the card fits in the box...I promise"???)

Amour

Hope you are having a great Monday! Today I have card #3 in the set from Artistic Etchings, tomorrow I will share #4 plus the box. This one was easy peasy since the patterned paper has the images at the bottom so all I did was stamp "Amour", the crown and a few punches and done! I do have 3 of these kits left over from Saturday if you are interested, $5.00 plus postage if necessary. Just send me an email at dls8383@gmail.com . Thanks for stopping by!

Artistic Etchings

Good afternoon! I am having a stamp class tomorrow and this is part of a set of cards my ladies will be able to choose from. I have 4 sets made using 4 different stamp sets and they will get to choose which they want to make. I love this stamp set, Artistic Etchings paired with Newsprint DSP and black striped grosgrain ribbon. Did you notice the Antique brad at the bottom, these are so pretty and you get a couple sizes and several styles. It is hard to tell but the Eiffel Tower is embossed, click on photo to see the detail. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm Back!

Did you miss me???? Well, I haven't really been anywhere except caught up in day to day Summer fun with my girls and baby Dalton. We have been going nonstop so I have had little time to get any stamping done.

I just love these little purses designed by the SUPER talented Becky Roberts. She has a tutorial for sale on her blog for this purse plus 2 others, you can visit her here. These are very easy to make with her easy to follow directions. Thanks for stopping by!

Long May She Wave

Today I have my project for the Paper Cubed(P3) challenge blog, we were to make a table top decoration. I knew what I wanted to make early in the month but finding the time was another story. Make sure you check out all the FABULOUS projects the rest of the Design Team came up with and visit their blogs and comment.

I used Brilliant Blue(now retired), Riding Hood Red, and Very Vanilla card stock as well as a retired Christmas DP. I sponged everything with Crumb Cake ink, doesn't that make you hungry...Crumb Cake is one of the new colors that is available from Stampin Up today!!!! Crumb cake is the new name for Kraft and of course there is paper to go along with it. If you don't have a demonstrator already, let me know and I would be glade to place an order for you or you can order on-line at http://stampthenightaway.stampinup.net/ .
