Waterfront

I ordered this stamp set when it first came out and promptly lost it in my craft room.  After searching for it for a month I reordered thinking that I would find it as soon as I got the new one but so far it hasn't turned up.  I have seen a lot of awesome cards made with this set and plan to use it soon in a class.  thanks for stopping by!

Bubble Over

I am trying to use all the stamps from the Occasions catalog that haven't seen ink yet.  This set is called Bubble Over.

Hello Friend

It has been a while since I stamped or posted something, over a month actually.  I have started to feel somewhat better just the last few days, I never imagined how much cancer takes from you.  I have 12 more radiation treatments left and have started the chemotherapy as well so I may not post anything consistently but will when I feel up to it.  I am so grateful for the ladies in my church who have driven me to treatments when my husband had to work so I made 25 of these cards for them.  Thanks for stopping by!

Painted Autumn

For todays card I used the pretty Painted Autumn DSP and the Label Me Pretty stamp set and matching punch.  Thanks for stopping by!

Background Bits Thank You

Today's card was made with one of the hostess sets called Background Bits.  Stampin' Up! always has neat hostess sets and this one is going to be a favorite for sure.  Thanks for stopping by!

Special Reason

My Spotlight  class this month was with the Special Reason stamp set and matching dies.  this is one of the three cards  we made.  thanks for stopping by!

Bold Butterflies

Today I have another card from Pinterest class, I love how simple yet classy it is.  I used Bold Butterflies Framelits and Butterflies Thinlits.

Here is the original, I only changed the embossing folder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thoughtful Branches Thank You

Today I have another card made with the stamp set, Thoughtful Branches.  Sorry if you are tired of this stamp set...it is just so pretty and can be for so many occasions.  I love hydrangeas and had a pretty one but my husband cut it down, he hates to mow around my flowers and is always "accidently" cutting things down.  I added Wink of Stella to the top Pink Pirouette layer but it is hard to see in the photograph.  Thanks for stopping by!

Pop of Paradise Pineapple

Pineapples are so trendy right now and I love how Stampin' Up! mixes the trends in with the tried and true.  I had found the pineapple paper at a craft store before the catalog came out and then when I saw the Pop of Paradise set I knew I had to get it.  Thanks for stopping by!

Moroccan Thank You

It's hard to pick a favorite among the DSP in the new annual catalog, they are all very pretty but the Moroccan is very close to the top for me.  The flower is from the Mayflower Thinlet dies and is in Delightful Dijon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Fresh Fruit

One of my favorite places to go during Summer is the Farmer's Market, not only is it a feast for the eyes with the fruit and veggie displays but the smell of the peaches and apples always catch my attention.  I had to have this stamp set, Fresh Fruit along with the gorgeous Fruit Stand DSP .  The solid stamps along with the outline stamps make the images pop and if that's not enough...it has matching dies!  This card along with a basket of fresh peaches would make the perfect thank you for someone special in your life.  Thanks for stopping by.

Flourishing Phrases

Today I have a CAS card made with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and the Flourish Thinlet dies which are bundled for $59.25 clearmount.  This seems a bit pricey until you consider that the stamp set has 18 stamps which includes thank you, sympathy, get well, wedding,  just because, and congratulations plus it has sentiments to go inside the card!  There are 10 dies in the set as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Affectionately Yours

Isn't this DSP pretty, I think this card could be used for a lot of different occasions but I just happened to need a Thank You card.  Thanks for stopping by!

Market Fresh

I have one more retiring stamp set that I had never inked up until last week.  Market Fresh is the name of this one and I love it but just didn't get around to using it.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You

This card is my newest kit for $5.00 Friday classes.  In case you are wondering, the $5.00 Friday classes are not my usual classes where everyone is working on the cards I choose for them to make but instead I have 34 kits available with all the pieces precut  so that you can chose which 3 cards you want to make .  They are designed so that you can make all three in about an hour.  You work on your own, I am usually working on a custom order or prepping for another class but am available to answer any questions that come up.  By request of several long distance ladies, I am now offering these as a mailable kit as well.  Kits in the Mail will be $10.00 to cover postage but you will also get five cards instead of 3.  You will also get directions for making the cards and a substitute list of stamps in case you don't have the ones I used on the card.  A link to a photo of the sample cards will also be included.  Some of the DSP I use for these kits is retired.  Send me an email if you are interested at dls8383@gmail.com and I will send you photos of the available kits.   thanks for stopping by!

Sprinkles of Life

Today I am using some items that are on the Retiring List.  The Sprinkles of Life stamp set is retiring but the Tree Builder punch isn't.  The Candy Dots used on the flowers and the Early Espresso cotton ribbon are both retiring as well as the Bitty Banners Framelits.  To view the complete Retiring
List click here.    Thanks for stopping by!

Roses are Red

I need to get  several Thank You cards mailed out this week and this one takes less than 5 minutes to make.  This beautiful rose can be found in the Occasions catalog which will be available in just a few days.  Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Thank You

I got a message from a fellow stamper last week that she liked one of my cards and was going to CASE it and feature it on her blog(Me, My Stamps, and I).  Her name is Chat and I have admired her work for years.  So, I checked out what she came up with and decided to CASE her version!  The relationships we build through stamps is the best part of it and is the main reason I do it.  You can check out Chat's blog here .  Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks a Bunch

Today I have another card using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You

Today I have a card for my $5.00 Friday girls to make when I get back from vacation.  I now have 24 kits available for them to choose from.  Thanks for stopping by!
