Hip Hip Hooray!

Today I have another Sneak Peek from the Occasions catalog, I used the Party Pop-Up Thinlet dies for the front and for the pop-up on the inside.

It is hard to see in the photo but the pop-up is a cake platter with the words building the cake layers and then candles on top.  It as easy as scoring the card stock and then running it through the Big Shot with die.  The sentiment on my card front will also pop up and either can be used as a flat sentiment with just a little trimming.  Thanks for stopping by!

Botanical Gardens

I have had a little break and am ready to get geared up for 2016, I have been home enjoying my kiddos and all the fun that Christmas brings to our home.  We have had a blast this year, the littles (aka Ava and Dalton) have enjoyed the traditional things we do such as cookie baking, Christmas stories, decorating, Christmas Eve service at church, riding around to see the lights, writing Santa letters, the elf shenanigans, and many more.  I know they are going to "grow" out of a lot of these things soon and it makes me sad but at the same time I can't wait to see what this next year brings.

Anyway....this is a card that I made for a swap I participated in.  I love this Botanical Gardens product suite from  the the Occasions Catalog.  The DSP is gorgeous and die set has 14 dies!  I didn't send any catalogs by mail this year so if you want one, drop by and pick one up or if you don't live locally let me know and I will mail you one.

Church Among the Pines

Today I have the gifts for the kids Sunday School teachers,  My friend Kelly P. invited me to stamp with her a few weeks ago and I used some of her dies from PaperTrey  and cut out a bunch of trees.  I took my dies and shared them with her and Janice.  It was nice to get to stamp with these gals and not to have to prep for a class.  Thanks for stopping by!

Santa Penguin

Sadie decided she didn't want the project I showed you yesterday so she found this cute penguin for her teacher gifts.  Here is a link to the directions.  She has seven classroom teachers plus she wanted to give the school nurse and secretary one as well.   Thanks for stopping by!

Sleigh Ride

I had decided that I would just give my kiddos teachers gift cards this year since I have not done any shopping so far, nor baking, and the only decorating is the tree.  But, they sooo didn't like this idea.  Shelby's response was, "that is so lame".....not sure what "lame" means but I don't want anyone to think I am "so lame" .  So...I  decided this is what they are all getting along with the gift cards I had already purchased.  Now, to find the time to make 19 of these.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bloomin' Heart

I am so excited to get to make something besides Christmas, I love Christmas but it can get overwhelming at times.  This card is made with some exciting new products from the Occasions catalog which starts January 5th.  I love this intricate heart die, I think it will get used for much more than Valentines Day.  Thanks for stopping by!

Santa-tizers

I made some of these for a sweet lady who comes by every year to get something for her Sunday school class for Christmas.  I had to change my design this year since the Bath and Body hand sanitizers are a different shape.

I had a fun lunch date today, Dalton earned a Limo ride by being one of the top sellers in a school fundraiser.  They got picked up at school and then rode to Pizza hut for lunch and then rode through town a couple times and then back to school.

He was all smiles when he got out.

He told me last night he sure hoped they got cheese pizza because that's his favorite.  I asked him what a limousine was and he said it is a really long car with lots of windows and "famous" people ride in it.  I don't know about famous but I do know he is the sweetest boy I know!

Bellies full, now back to school!

Christmas Tags

I have some cute tags to show you that my daughter and I made for a friend.  She is a choir director so we decided to use the sheet music DSP from the home for Christmas pack.  We made 60 for her plus a few for us to use.

I love how they turned out, hope she likes them.  thanks for stopping by!

Leaping Deer

It had been a while sine I posted anything, I have been covered up with custom orders(still have two huge ones to go) for Christmas.  I think this has been the busiest season yet.  I took a break last night and had a class for 15 of  the teachers at West Side School.  We made this card which was inspired by one done by the talented Tenealle Williams.

I also had a wonderful Thanksgiving break with my kiddos.  Dalton and Ava have both had loose teeth which has been hilarious to watch.  Dalton finally got one out and Ava was not going to be out done so she pulled one too.  The next day Dalton pulled another one and Ava followed suit about 10 minutes later.  They carried them around for about an hour and then laid them down.  When it got bedtime, they went looking for them so the tooth fairy could come but since they both looked alike they got in a huge argument over which tooth was theirs.  I finally put them in a bag and let them draw one out, the tooth fairy came that night so they were all happy.  I got Dalton to agree to a picture but Ava wouldn't cooperate.

They both sill have two more loose teeth so this weekend will be probably be a repeat of last weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!

Silent Night

Today I have a Christmas card using a retired stamp that I absolutely love.  I love to color and when I have something on my mind and just need to be still, I pull out my markers and color.  I have been so burdened by a car accident in our town that took the life of a little five year old boy and severely injured both parents and his 3 year old sister.  My Ava is five and Dalton is six and I just can't even wrap my mind around what this family is dealing with.  I have several custom orders I should be working on but can't concentrate on them just yet, for now I just have to wait on the Lord to help me accept His will in all this.

Merry Christmas

Today I have a Christmas card to share, the DSP is retired but I am sure the recipient won't mind.  I still have several cards to make for myself but my list is getting shorter every day.

Don't forget that the Online Extravaganza starts today.  Click here to get the updated PDF of the sale items.  If you downloaded the one I posted earlier, there have been some changes to it so you will need to download this one for the corrections.  Thanks for stopping by!

Joy

Good  Sunday morning, everyone at my house is in a good mood, cooperating and almost ready for church and I even have a few minutes to get a post ready.  Now, this doesn't happen too often, it never fails that someone looses a shoe, doesn't like the outfit I picked for them, or is a slowpoke at breakfast so I am definitely taking advantage of it.  My cards today are from this months Paper Pumpkin and I liked them so much I made them part of my Christmas card class this week.

Here is the second one.  Thanks for stopping by!

Festive Fireplace

I have had a busy month and am finally getting time to stamp something for myself.  I did really well at my craft shows, much better than I anticipated.  I not only sold a lot but got many custom orders which I am working on but they are for Christmas so I have a little time to spare.  For  this card I used the Festive Fireplace stamps and dies.  Thanks for stopping by!

Milk for Santa

I love this idea I found on Pinterest!  I drink a lot of flavored coffee and can't bring myself to throw the little bottles away.  I use them sometimes to put milk in for the littles since their hands are small and they have a hard time holding on to a regular glass.  So, I searched these out, removed the labels with a Magic Eraser,  and decorated them.  The littles haven't seen them yet so I will bring them out on Christmas Eve so they can leave milk to go with the cookies for Santa.  I also found enough to have some for my next craft show as well and slipped a piece of copy paper in them to look like milk..  Thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin Spice

It seems that Pumpkin Spice is all the rage right now, I love it.  These are Pumpkin Spice Biscotti and they are delicious with a cup of Pumpkin Spice Latte.  I will show you the coffee treat package tomorrow.  I purchased these at Target, they are already individually packaged but I put them in a pretzel bag as well.

Thanks for stopping by!

Wonderland

I looked at my list to see how many winter birthdays we have and realized I needed to make several masculine cards.  This one will be for my husband who has a birthday this month.  This DSP is from the Winter Wonderland Specialty pack and the stamp set is Wonderland.

I had this frame already cut in white so I made another one for my stash.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!  I don't have a Halloween project to share today but I do have a Fall project.  I have made a bunch of these mostly because they are so quick and easy to make.  I used the Square Pillow Box die and the Vintage Leaves die.  Thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin Favors

I try to send a little something to my kids teachers to show appreciation throughout the year especially at holidays.  Halloween is hard to decide what to send since so many people have gone away from celebrating it.  So, I went with a Fall theme this year.  This is what Shelby chose, it is made with the Pillow box die and I put Hershey Nuggets inside.  Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Thank You

I got a message from a fellow stamper last week that she liked one of my cards and was going to CASE it and feature it on her blog(Me, My Stamps, and I).  Her name is Chat and I have admired her work for years.  So, I checked out what she came up with and decided to CASE her version!  The relationships we build through stamps is the best part of it and is the main reason I do it.  You can check out Chat's blog here .  Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Something

Still working on craft show goodies, I have a lot more ideas but time is running out.  These coffee cup totes have been popular the last two years so i am hoping they will be this year as well.

Here is a view of just the coffee cup, sorry for the fuzziness of the photo.  I had a little helper who snapped a few pictures while I had my back turned.  I would show you the photos Dalton took but they were of his feet, the ceiling, and one of me that was frightening.  When I finally chased him down and got my camera back, I forgot to check the settings before I resumed taking photos.  Thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Leaves Birthday

I am feeling a little anxious about my craft shows the first two weekends in November, I still have a long list of what I want to accomplish.  I did an inventory of what I have yesterday and realized how few Fall birthday cards I have so I made a few.  I try to use up some of my retired product for my craft show so you will be seeing a lot of it during the next few posts.  For this card, I used Vintage Leaves(current) and the matching dies along with some retired DSP.  Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful Season

I really enjoy birds, in fact I took an Ornithology  class in college and it turned out to be my favorite class.  I feed them year round and have seen some interesting  species showing up at the feeders lately.  We also have several fruit trees and holly trees in our yard and the birds enjoy them as well.  For this card I used the Beautiful Season(retired) stamp set and a piece of  Home for Christmas DSP.  Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas

I love this card if the poinsettia was a die instead of a punch, this would be the card i send out for Christmas.  I don't think my hands would be able to mass produce 75 of these which is the number of cards I sent out last year.  I found this pretty DSP in my retired stash and love how it turned out.  Thanks for stopping by!
