Thoughts of You

(inside of card)
Good Monday afternoon!  The girls are out of school for MLK day so I took most of the day off too.  Shelby went ice skating and Sadie and I are just hanging out but I do have a project to show you.  I have a friend who is not "crafty" at all but loves to get things handmade so I send her things occasionally.  She loves to have something she can put on her desk and enjoy for a while so I made this Valentine easel card for her.  I used several of the framelet dies from the Hearts Collection as well as the Fashionable Hearts embosslit die.  The image is from the Take It to Heart and Loving Thoughts stamp sets.   This card is bigger than standard size but will fit in a 5x5 envelope for mailing.

I have had several inquiries about my Ocassions Class so I want to give you a few more details.  I am offering this class by mail.  For those who have indicated they want to use Paypal, I will send you a Paypal invoice five days before the actual class and will mail your packets as soon as I receive your payment.  For those paying by check you need to send payment a week before the actual class(dates to be sent to you by email).  The cost of the class will be $14.00 locally or $16.00 mailed and will consits of 2 each of 3 different cards.  The first class will be adult birthday and over the next five months we will make Thank You, Get Well, Bereavement, Children's Birthday/Baby, and Congratulations/Wedding cards. If you purchase all 6 classes you will receive a Card Keeper Box valued at $8.95.  You will get instructions and photos of the cards with your kit.  I know I have probably left something out, so if you have questions send me an email at dls8383@gmail.com.  Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas SAS

Good Monday morning!  Hope your weekend was good, ours was perfect with sunny days and lots of time spent outside.  Today I have one of the cards we did at a recent SAS using the stamp Jolly Old St. Nick.    The design is CAS but the embossing folder gives it a lot of WOW.  It is hard to see in the photo but there is lots of glitter.   If you are interested in coming to my next Christmas SAS, it will be October 27th during the day and then again that night.  Contact me and I will be glad to send you all the details.  I am also offering the class as a kit and will give you details on that a little later.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Birthday Set

Good Monday morning, rainy Monday here. I love Spring and know we need rain but I so wanted sunshine today. Oh well, this cute little set of cards make me smile! Aren't they sweet, they were made with the Petal Cone die! I love this die, I keep finding more ways to use it and would love to share those with you at my Petal Cone class on Wednesday and Thursday this week. These are very easy to make, cut one petal cone in card stock and one in a color for the inside, punch a 2 1/2 inch circle in half, and then cut the bottom part down so that it will fit into a 3x3 envelope. So easy!

Create

Good afternoon! Today I have one of the Make & Take projects we made at Branson Regionals. I have to say that most of the time I don't even do the Make and Takes because to be honest they are usually so simple and more for a beginner stamper and I have even told them that in surveys after events.  But this project is awesome, I love it!  It uses the Petal Cone die to make the triangles, Nature Walk stamps, Botanical Gazette DSP, pearls, ribbon, and even a trinket key.  Make sure you click on the photo to enlarge so that you can see all the detail.  This is one of the projects we will make at my upcoming Petal Cone class so be watching for the details about that.
