Good evening! My routine is definitely off this week with the girls being home from school but I am enjoying every minute of it. I have done very little scrap booking the past two years and have really missed it so I made a New Years resolution to start again. This is my first attempt, I am a little stale so bare with me as I get back in the groove. I used the Define your Life stamps and some retired Jersey Shore DSP. Ok, the BIG news I eluded to yesterday.....it will have to wait a little longer but I can tell you this much it will involve Scrap Booking in a BIG way. Thanks for stopping by.

Sending Sprintime Wishes
Good afternoon, I have had a slow start this morning. Seems like a Saturday since the girls are out of school and Saturday's here always move slow. Today I have a verrrry clean and simple card. It is hard for me not to add a layer of DSP but I wanted something quick as well. The eggs and the sentiment are from the stamp set Easter Blossoms and are stamped in Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue, and Certainly Celery.
Don't forget SAB ends tomorrow, if you want to place an order or join my team....contact me at dls8383@gmail.com . Also, don't forget Scrap Book class Friday and Saturday April 1 and 2.
P.S. check back tomorrow for BIG announcement!!!

Sweet and Sour
I am not sure what happened to the posts had scheduled to share with you while we were gone but they got messed up somehow. Anyway, here is one of them, this is a different take on the easel card. Not difficult at all, you can find a tutorial on Splitcoast. I used Sweet and Sour Specialty DP and Sweet Summer SAB stamp set. This was inspired by a card I saw done by Teneale Williams.

Spring Birthday
Good afternoon! I have been in a Spring mood all week and then this morning we woke to 40 degree weather:( So I tried to brighten up the day with a colorful birthday card for a friend who is turning 30 this week. Happy Birthday Elizabeth! I used some retired DSP(no clue what the name of it is) andWhisper White and Old Olive card stock. I cut the flower with the Daisy #2 die.
If you haven't RSVP'd for upcoming classes make sure you do that today as I am cutting the paper today! Technique class Friday and Saturday. Scrap book class April 1 and 2.
There are a lot of challenges going on for Spring cards so I entered this card here at Stamp With Fun blog, and at the Stamps R Us blog.

...Something Borrowed, Something Blue
Good evening, I am posting really late since I just haven't felt well today. This is a wedding card I made several weeks ago using the Framed Tulip embossing folder and the Perfect Details Texturz Plate but I hadn't added the sentiment to it until I got this new set of stamps called Four Frames which will be available in April as a Special Offer and then will be available in the new Idea Book and Catalog. I used a sentiment from the retired Vintage Labels set. I love how this card came together and how simple the design is and how the pearls add just the right touch of elegance. Thanks for stopping by.

To Infinity and Beyond....
Good Monday morning, hope you had a good weekend! The sun is shining, the birds are singing me a song, the kids got off to school without any problems, my husband is teaching this week(yes!), and I am caught up with laundry for the moment. What more could I ask for!!! Ok, enough about how good I feel today...here is a cute project I made which is totally cased from Ellen Kemper. I always make two of any thing I make because it is just as easy to do while all the stuff is out for the one. Well, I am glad I did because I thought Dalton was being very quiet for some reason and when I checked on him I knew why. He was sitting under the kitchen table with Buzz or should I say pieces of Buzz. When he realized he was caught he looked up and said, "Mems" which is what he says for M&M's. He knows I put candy in my treat containers most of the time and that is all he wanted! It was so funny all I could do was laugh and give him a few "Mems". If you want the directions for making Buzz(she also has directions for making the full body of buzz) check her blog here . Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Sneak Peek
Good afternoon! Today I have a cute little treat basket (minus the treat, I think 2 girls are responsible for that) for Easter. I used some retired DSP and I am not sure what the name of it is along with Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery card stock. Notice the stamped Decorative Label? I used a stamp set called Four Frames which will be available in the Summer Mini. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter
Good evening, hope your Saturday has been good! I went to the state VBS workshop this morning and was so inspired that I had to get started right away working on VBS. I do crafts at our church but I also teach the Association craft class which is next month so I know as hectic as my life is I need to start preparing now. I do have a card to share as well, this is one that I made as a set for a special order. I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on Crumb Cake for the base followed by a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock and a layer of Springtime Vintage DSP. The silhouette is stamped on Very Vanilla and framed with a Baja Breeze scalloped oval and Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon finishes it off.
Don't forget SAB is ending soon. Let me know soon if you need to place an order and take advantage of SAB FREEBIES!

Hey Chickie
Good afternoon! I have been absent for a couple days, I think I have Spring fever! The sun has been shining and the temperature at 70 degrees so I have been outside enjoying it. Today Dalton and I took a walk and saw hundreds of birds and flowers popping up everywhere. When we came back in I was gathering up a few things to photograph and he noticed the chick on this little basket and said "bird". I explained this was a chick and he repeated "chickie"! Now this probably doesn't sound like a big deal but since we have been worried about his language development being a bit slow it was a huge deal for me. So of course I had to share my little basket with the "bird chickie" on it today. It is made with the Two Tags die and the bird punch, I just cut the bird down a bit to resemble a chick. The eggs are from the stamp set Easter Blossoms but were too big stamped as they are so I cut them to fit better by punching them out with the small oval, cutting the bottom off, and rounding it a little. Hope your day is filled with sunshine!

HOPE
Good morning! Today I have another sneak peek card using the stamp set Strength and Hope. It has some very pretty images in it, my favorite being the butterfly. I stamped it in Versamark ink on Early Espresso card stock then embossed with white embossing powder and cut it out. Thanks for stopping by!

Cupcake Birthday Set
Good Monday morning, rainy Monday here. I love Spring and know we need rain but I so wanted sunshine today. Oh well, this cute little set of cards make me smile! Aren't they sweet, they were made with the Petal Cone die! I love this die, I keep finding more ways to use it and would love to share those with you at my Petal Cone class on Wednesday and Thursday this week. These are very easy to make, cut one petal cone in card stock and one in a color for the inside, punch a 2 1/2 inch circle in half, and then cut the bottom part down so that it will fit into a 3x3 envelope. So easy!

Medallion Birthday
Good afternoon! Hope you are having a relaxing weekend. My card today is one that was very popular yesterday at the Pink Event. I made a couple boxed sets with 4 cards in a clear box with the outside decorated and then made 3 individual cards. This is the only one left and I am glad because I forgot to photograph it before the event. I used Very Vanilla for the card base followed by a layer of Basic Black and DSP from Love Letter. It is actually a simple card but I think the medallion plus the color combination was what caught everyones attention.
Here are a few dates to remember...
March 16 and 17 at 11:00 each day.....Big shot class featuring the Petal Cone die, so far I have come up
with 8 ways to use it.
March 25 and 26.....Technique class. march 16 at 11:00 and 17 at 1:00
The April 1 and 2 Scrapbook class has been rescheduled for April 8 and 9 because of Spring Break. We have decided to take a trip to the beach for Spring Break! Can't wait :)

Strength and Hope
Good evening! Hope you have had a wonderful Saturday, mine has been. Today I have a sneak peek at a stamp set which will be available in the summer Mini and will be available May 1. It is called Strength and Hope and the timing couldn't have been better. I got it just in time to whip up a few projects for The Pink Event today. Anything to do with breast cancer sells well at this event and everything sold again this year. Stampin' Up will donate $2.00 to the Breast Cancer Research foundation for every set sold. I love the images, they are so vintage and feminine. I stamped in Early Espresso ink and my card stock is Pretty in Pink and Early Espresso. Thanks for stopping by!

Notes
Good morning! I am busy today putting the finishing touches on items for my booth at The Pink Event which is tomorrow from 10:00-2:00. If you don't have a ticket yet, contact me. The tickets are $20.00 and includes lunch. Today I have an altered project, this is actually one of our stamp cases for the clear mount stamps. I just slipped DSP in the sleeve after I decorated it up a bit. Inside I have a notepad, a pen, and sticky notes. I am always digging through my purse for a pen or something to write on so maybe this will help me to be more organized. I will have these for sale at my booth. Thanks for stopping by.

Table Favors
Good morning! My project today is an inexpensive but very pretty wedding favor and has been popular among my wedding customers. I used some retired Bride DSP, the flower from the Itty Bitty punch pack and tiny pearls to wrap the chocolate nuggets. The banner was cut with the Petal Cone die and attached to a lollipop stick. Thanks for stopping by!

Elegant Soiree Collage
Good afternoon! Today's project is a collage using Elegant Soiree DSP and a bunch of other things. I am sorry that there is a glare on the glass but this is the best I could get. I got the idea from Nancy Riley, she made a Valentine collage. I used so many different elements and I thought this would be an easy way to showcase different products at an event or workshop. This would also be a great gift for a new demonstrator. Sooooooo....if you join my team....this is yours!! I also made a few different styles and will be selling these at the Pink Event this weekend. Ok. here is the list of supplies....card stock, DSP, punches. embossing folders, Big Shot, glue dots, Tombow adhesive, Snail, ribbon, buttons, rosettes, stamps, ink, pearls, key trinkets, crown trinkets, Thanks for stopping by!

Fabric Hair Bows
Good evening! I have worked all day getting ready for an upcoming event and got tons of things accomplished. I made a bunch of these cute hair bows and hopefully my girls won't take them all before the event, they really liked them. Very easy to make, just cut the fabric with the Circles # 2 die and fold and glue. The fabric is Candy Cane Christmas from the Holiday Mini(still available!) and the purple is a satin fabric I already had. The event I am working on is called The Pink Event which is a Cancer fundraiser. If you live close by, you should try to come. They will have several vendors, a catered lunch, a dynamic speaker, music, a fashion show, raffles, door prizes and much more. The cost is $20.00 which goes toward Cancer research. It will be on March 14, hope to see you there!

Hostess Benefits
Good Monday morning! I have never been happier that a weekend is over, nothing went right all weekend. I had baby Dalton for the weekend because his Mommy had to work and his Daddy was out of town. Dalton had fever most of the Friday and was very grumpy. We were up most of the night Friday but he felt a little better on Saturday. Then my sister calls me to tell me Sister-in-law was killed in a car wreck so I spent most of Saturday on the phone with family. Then Saturday night Dalton's fever was back up to 105 so I had had enough and we ended up in the ER for about 3 hours and after a lot of tests they decided he has an ear infection. So needless to say, I didn't even go into my craft room all weekend.
This morning I did whip up a card to share with you. I used Blushing Bride as the base, the DSP is from the Hostess pad, and the ribbon is Pear Pizazz. The image is from the set A Slice of Life which is also a Hostess selection. If you love to get FREEBIES as much as I do, then now is is the very best time to get the most for your money. With SAB going on if you host a workshop or if you just want to call up a few friends and get orders, with a $150.00 order you get to choose 3 FREE SAB items, a Level 1 Hostess item for FREE, and spend $15.00 on anything in any current catalog.

Stylish Blog Bliss
Good morning! Today I have a card using my favorite set from SAB, Bliss. I think this image could be used for just about any occasion so I haven't added a sentiment to the card yet. I used DSP from the Neutral Pattern Stack and added a Vintage brad to the middle of the image. Gotta run, I am finishing up a few custom orders this morning so I can mail them out today. Thanks Gloria and Jewel for the orders.
Almost forgot, I need to say a huge thank you to Leena for nominating me for the Stylish Blog award. I am not to going to pass it this time since I did last week. But please check out Leena's blog here and check out the blogs I nominated here.

A Life of Giving
Good morning! Today's project was made for a person very dear to me who is the most generous person I know, not necessarily always with money but more with time and just caring for other people. So, this quote from the stamp set Occasional Quotes was perfect. My card base is Rich Razzleberry and the DSP is Springtime Vintage. The pearls in the background are from one of the overlays(not sure what they are called). Look at that cute Rich Razzleberry flower, it is one of the Rosettes available in the Occasions Mini which I colored with a marker. Love it! Thanks for stopping by.

I Do Day
Good morning! I have another wedding card today, this one with a lot of bling. I have a lot of trouble photographing white projects but if you click on the photo to enlarge it looks a little better. I used the frame like the one I posted a few days ago which was demonstrated at Branson Regionals. I saw a card at Regionals that used this sentiment and knew I wanted to put the two together. I cut several rows of scallops cut with the Tasteful Trim die and then added some ruffled ribbon(non SU). The sentiment is from the stamp set Word Play.
This card also fits the challenge at Paper Players challenge to use fabric on a card. It can be anything woven such as ribbon and fabric. Thanks for stopping by!

Wedding Day
Good morning, I am making this short and sweet today, my Sadie doesn't feel well so I have a lot of cuddling and TLC to do. This is one of the cards I made for my Wedding sampler that I send out to customers to choose from so I didn't add a sentiment since it can be used for showers, thank you, invitations, ect. Hope you like it!
ETA...I have had several emails about the embossing on this card, it is from Cuttlebug. I love the oval frame and it is hard to see in a photograph but the wedding dress is actually stamped on another oval that is cut out and popped up on dimensionals. Much prettier IRL than in the photo.
