Happy Big Day!
Happy Wednesday! My kids are counting down the sleeps until we leave for the beach.....3 more. I am more than ready for a little time away as well. Today I have another Chalk Talk card. Crisp Cantaloupe was my least favorite of the new In-Colors but I love how it looks with Raspberry Ripple. The DSP is from the Birthday Basics collection. Thanks for stopping by!

Love Letter Gift Bag
Good Sunday afternoon! Today I have one of the Make and Takes from the Crop for the Cure we had Friday night. This cute gift bag is made from 2 pieces of 12x12 DSP and the finished size is 8x6x3 which is a good size to hold several cards, DVDs, Cd's or even a T-shirt. I have tons of retired DSP so I will be making several of these for Christmas. My friend Paula provided this Make and Take, I will show you mine tomorrow. We had lots of good food, some stamping time, and lots of laughing. Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee and Friends
Good morning! Coffee and friends....that takes me waaaay back...when I was a little girl I can remember my mom walking to my Aunt Martha's house every day where she met up with a few more ladies and they drank coffee and watched their "stories"(soap operas). I got to tag along sometimes and I so wanted to be like them especially the coffee part. When I was "old" enough to drink coffee, it sure didn't taste like I had imagined. I do like coffee now occasionally, especially specialty coffee. For my card I used Epic Day DSP and Perfect Blend stamp set. Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas in July
Happy Monday to you! I start my Christmas card classes in July so I have been playing with some new stamp sets from the Holiday Mini catalog. This one is Festive Flurry and has matching Framelit dies. I had a few leftover pieces of card stock already embossed and some DSP already cut so I went with that. Thanks for stopping by!
Ps....With all the busyness(VBS) of last week, I completely forgot to announce the winner of the FREE punch. The winner was....Josie R.(Josie, your punch has shipped and should arrive on Wednesday!) and she chose the Mosaic Madness punch. I had 8 correct answers...The sun in this post was made with the 1 inch circle and the Mosiac Madness punch.

Cycle Celebration
Good afternoon! I have been wanting to do a movement card like this for a while and this bicycle is the perfect image for that. I sandwiched pennies in the slot and then attached the bicycle on them with dimensionals to give it room to move back and forth. Thanks for stopping by!

Fun in the Sun and a FREE Punch
Good morning! Today I have a fun card I made for my girls....and the occasion......we are taking them to the beach! They are so excited and I am too, we didn't do much last summer other than a few weekend trips. I am also going to use this card in my punch classes this month, can you guess what punch(es) I used to make the sun? Send me an email at dls8383@gmail.com and list the punches used to make the sun and I will draw a winner from the right responses for a FREE punch. I will choose a winner on Thursday. Thanks for stopping by!

Midnight Muse Poinsettia
Good Monday morning! Today I have the third card from my Spotlight class to share. I love the Metallic Silver Encore ink with the Midnight Muse card stock. The photo doesn't do justice to this card, it is so sparkly IRL. I added a Frosted Finishes Embellishment to the center of the poinsettia and tied some Silver ribbon around the DSP strip which is from the Winter Frost Specialty collection. The background is embossed with a retired snowflake folder. I used Silver Foil to cut the Scalloped Oval for the sentiment although it doesn't show up very well.

Joyful Christmas Wishes
Good morning, hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Today i have card #2 from my Spotlight class using Joyful Christmas stamp set. For this one we used the poinsettia as a background stamp, stamping with Crumb Cake onto Crumb Cake card stock. I added a strip of Burlap ribbon across the bottom with a little Whisper White Baker's Twine. The DSP is from Season of Style. Thanks for stopping by!

Joyful Christmas
Good afternoon! I love this stamp set!!...I have been looking for a pretty poinsettia stamp for a while and this one is perfect. I used the new Encore Gold ink to stamp the image twice onto Cherry Cobbler card stock and then cut it out. I added dimensionals to give more definition and then cut a 3/4 inch circle for the middle and added pearls(seems I lost a couple). The DSP is part of the Season of Style collection and the scalloped border is from the Foil sheets. I thought these sheets would be thin because of the "foil" but they are actually card stock but very shiny like foil. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks Much
I have a customer whom I see at events and she always wants to purchase boxed sets of cards. I usually concentrate on one or two stamp sets and make her several all occasion cards. She gives the set as a gift so I have to make a pretty package to house them in as well. The card I showed you yesterday was part of her set and I will show you the rest of them this week. This one is my favorite, I think the Honeycomb embossing folder makes it very pretty. Thanks for stopping by!

Faux Tile
Good morning! Today's card was made using the Faux Tile technique. I wrapped a piece of 3x3 card stock with aluminum foil and ran it through the BS with an embossing folder. Then I scored at one inch increments and added it to another panel of Very Vanilla. Next I added another piece of embossed card stock to the side. The button is from the Very Vintage Designer buttons and is layered onto a 1 1/4 inch Scallop Circle. Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Big Day!
Good morning! Today's project is one from my Chalk Talk class. The card stock colors are Bermuda Bay, Very Vanilla, and Raspberry Ripple. The DSP is from Birthday Bash and the little flower was made with the Simply Pressed Clay and the Blossoms Clay Mold. These are so easy to make, I added ink from a ink refill and kneaded it into clay and then pressed it into the mold. It worked best for me to leave it alone for about 5 minutes and then push it out of the mold, trim with scissors any excess clay, and then let air dry for about 20 minutes. I had some leftover clay so I stored it in a Ziploc bag and it worked great the next day for the class. The molds are available in Buttons and Blossoms, you get both for only $7.95. The clay is $6.95 for 2.4 oz. Thanks for stopping by!

Kind and Cozy
Good Monday morning, rainy morning here. I had a busy weekend so I could of really slept in this morning but of course I was awake at 5:30. On Saturday I did a birthday party for a sweet young lady and then we had Dalton a little birthday party. He loves to go to the park but the rain kept us from having it there. He still had fun and loved his gifts, Spiderman always puts a smile on his face!
For my card today I used the Kind and Cozy stamp set along with some Gingham Garden DSP. I used Candy Dots, a punched flower, and a little banner to give a little extra "pretty" to it. Thanks for stopping by!
