I saw this idea on a blog, Stamping with Sheryl, and thought I would try it. I really like how it turned out. I used a paper towel tube and covered it with regular copy paper, the brim of the hat is cut with a scallop nestibilities. It was easy to do and I will probably add the rest of the family later.

MOJO Monday Challenge
I really enjoyed this challenge and I liked how the card turned out so much so that I already mailed it to a fiend who recently lost her father. Make sure you check out this site http://mojomonday.blogspot.com for the sketch as well as all the other cards.
For my card, I used the stamp set Upsy Daisy and paper from Stampin' Up, Washington Apple .

Today's card is another valentine using the Love You Much bundle which is available now from Stampin' Up.
You can see the entire set as well as the retiring list on my website: http://stampthenightaway.stampinup.net or contact me by email at dls8383@gmail.com. If you haven't left a comment on the post about blog candy, do it today because winner will be chosen today!

Dream a Little
This card was made using a set that will be in the new 2009 Stampin' Up catalog. I love the hummingbird and the flower is a two step stamp. I used rose red card stock, I just realized how often I am using that color lately. I also used designer paper from the Sweet Always collection. Hope you like it!

My first ever blog candy!!! It's so easy to enter...just leave a comment on what you would prefer to get as a Valentine' s Day gift. Do you like flowers, candy, cards, date out with your sweetheart, or ....? Me, I would love to have a special dinner out with my beloved husband, Toy. We go out without the kids twice a year when their grandparents come to visit from Alabama which is in October on the girls birthdays and in December for Christmas. I will use Random Integer Selection on January 9 to choose a winner. Oh yeah, the prize is a Green Galore classic stamping pad, retired summer o8 hostess set Little Bit of Happiness, retiring Bitty Basic hostess set, and 3 yards each of 1/4 inch Real Red grosgrain ribbon and Alpine ribbon(Holiday Mini). Good luck.

Happy Heart Day
Maybe my new stamps will be here soon and I can use another set although I do like this one, Happy Heart Day. I used the Top Note and cut it in 3 different colors and then cut and pieced the different patterns. I used some different colors on this one as well: pretty in pink, real red, and a designer paper from Reminisce. I colored the heart with copic #R29 and added the heart brad from the Paper Company. Hope you like it.

OCC Challenge
This is a card I did for a challenge at Our Creative Corner. It has lots of layers and was fun to do. Sometimes when I am stuck a template really helps me pull a card together. You can see the template here.

Just Buzzin' By
I think this set is so cute! I had several ideas to try for this card and none of them worked. I wanted to put a slider in behind the bee hive with the sentiment on it but the first time I pulled it out, it broke so I stamped the sentiment at the bottom and it didn't stamp very well so I covered it with card stock. Anyway, here it is although I am not real pleased with it. I did get to use my new nestibilities though and I really like these. These can be used with the Big Shot which makes it handy.
This set is call "Just Buzzin By" and will be new in the Spring catalog. It has 8 stamps: 3 different bees(each with a little attitude of their own), the hive, a honey pot, a flower, and two sentiments(just buzzin by to say...have a honey of a day).
I used my new Georgia Peach designer paper and some watercolor paper for this card.

Happy New Year
This is a card I made for a shoebox swap I am going to later today. It is very simple but I liked it. I used the Stampin' Up set, Love You Much. The colors are pink pirouette and Riding Hood Red. The love birds were paper pieced using Candy Lane paper which is hard to see in this terrible photo, I have tried all day to get a good picture and the overcast skies aren't allowing it.
