Wetlands Thinking of You

Good Monday morning!  All of my kiddos are back in school today and that is good since they were getting bored and I was getting tired of entertaining them.  I took Ava and Dalton to a fun trampoline and ice skating place over the weekend and both those little stinkers just put on the skates and took off like they had been doing it every day.  They fell a few times but didn't even come get their boo-boos kissed, plus the added bonus of an early bedtime since they were so tired.   Today's card is one I made for a friend at church.   Her dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack  while he was on a Mission trip to help clean up after the flood damage in Louisiana.  What a testament to the way he lived his life,  

Cups & Kettles

Today I have another card made with the Cups and Kettles dies and stamps from the Occasions Catalog.  I am doing a class using this bundle in April so I have been playing around with it.  This card appears to be crooked but really isn't, when I edited it this was the best photograph I could get.

You're So Sweet

I can't believe it has been over a week since I posted anything, I have been working nonstop on a wedding shower and am happy to say it is almost done.  My kiddos have also been out for Spring Break so that's always a challenge to find time to work and keep them occupied at the same time.

What I Love

Today's card is made with the stamp set What I Love from SAB.  Don't forget that SAB ends on March 31st.

Today is also a special day, March 21 is a day set aside to show love to people with Down's Syndrome or Trisomy 21.  My family was blessed with Jamie Bush, my nephew,  33 years ago.  Jamie is the sweetest, funniest, and  most loving person I know and I am so thankful that God sent him to us.  Everyone he meets immediately becomes family to him, he will refer to them as his cousin every time he sees them.  I love this little man and don't get to see him near enough.

This picture is about 4 years old but he hasn't really changed much.  His mother died in a car wreck about five years ago and he and his dad(my brother) live together, they are like two grumpy old men.  They are always arguing about something which is hilarious.  Love you, Jamie Bush!

Pedal Pusher

Isn't this sentiment and bicycle perfect for someone going through trying times or dealing with all the crazy things of just life in general.    Just knowing that you have that friend who is always available to do anything and everything you ask is a great help.
