It has been over a week since I have touched a stamp, last week I was totally consumed with VBS.   I have been doing Bible School for many years but have never felt as completely worn out as this year.  I was determined to get something posted today since we are leaving for a mini vacation on Monday.  This card is for our In-color class, this month the featured color is Tangelo Twist.  Thanks for stopping by!

Lion for Little Lyon


I had a request for a special card for a little two year old boy named Lyon whose favorite animal is a lion, how fun is that!  I had made a similar lion a few years ago but couldn't find it so I came up with this little guy.  I used some retired DSP as well as the retired More Mustard card stock(perfect lion color).   Thanks for stopping by!

Cute Baby


My favorite cards to make are for babies but it seems I never have one when I need it.  I made this one for punch class today.  The sail is made with the 1 inch square, 1 1/4 inch square and the tip of the pennant punch.  The bottom is made from a circle framelit.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Love


The hostess sets in the annual catalog are all cute but I think this little birdie is just too cute.  The sentiment reminds me of my grandmother, I was always amazed at how she would know things we did as kids even though we didn't see her very often.  When I would ask her how she knew I had got a spanking for cutting my sisters hair, she would say "A little birdie told me".  I finally figured out the "little birdie" was my dad and he often went to her house for lunch when he was working.  Ahhh....sweet memories!

Blended Bloom
