Project Life Everyday Adventure

Are you a card maker or a scrapbook maker or a treat maker or a gift maker.....ok, then Project Life is what you need to make it easier!  I made this class around the Everyday Adventure Project Life kit and I
wanted to show that it doesn't have to be just for scrap booking even though it the best scrap booking method I have seen.

I made this page in less than five minutes.

Love this shaker card, the heart was already die cut so I  added a window sheet and  cut a couple Shaker Frames apart and shaped them around the heart.

This is a little notebook that I found for $.25 in the school supplies at Walmart thinking it was about the size of the 4x6 sheets in the Project Life kit and they fit perfectly!!  I decorated a pen to match and now I have a little surprise to tuck into the girls backpacks the first day of school.

And you gotta have chocolate...this little box holds two Ghirardelli.   I cut up one of the 4x6 sheets to decorate the sides of my box.  Now, I am sure I got inspiration from Pinterest for a couple of these projects, didn't bother to look for them again....if they are similar to something you made...feel flattered!  Thanks for stopping by!

Family Picnic

Today I have one of the cards from Punch class on Saturday.  I knew I wanted to make a bird house from the What's Up punch the first time I saw it in the Annual Catalog(AC).

We enjoyed a family picnic on Sunday after church for my son Seth's birthday.  We had a couple missing, Heather and Ava, but other than that it was perfect.

I is a running joke with Seth and mayonnaise, he eats it on everything and he was sure that I had forgotten to bring it so he brought his own.

The boys enjoyed playing Frisbee Golf, something I had never heard of but was available at the park.

They also did some bow and arrow shooting and of course Sadie had to get in on it.  She loves to shoot.

I bet you can't guess what this photo is about....he told me as we ran to the bathroom..."I was having too much fun and couldn't stop playing".  We made it but it sure was a close call!

Let it Snow

I don't know why I haven't made more of these cards in a box, I really like the.  For this one I used the Best of Snow from the series of stamps last year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Stampin' Up! along with some retired DSP.  Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Boy!

My Dalton loves Charlie Brown and Snoopy and when he was stamping with me yesterday he asked me to make him a Charlie Brown.  Of course I turned to Pinterest to find one and actually found a couple versions but he liked this one best.  I did a few changes but basically just copied it.  Dalton doesn't like his put on a card so I usually use the back board that comes in the DSP and punch it first and then layer the card stock on it so that it lasts longer.  He uses them to play and act out parts of the cartoons as he watches them.

Here is the inside, I already had the helmet colored in local school colors, I probably need to change the die cut panel out on the front to this color. I saw these cute treats on Erica Cerwin's blog and had to make some.  It just so happens my friend Trudy R. sells the tubes through CTMH and I had bought a few from her.  They make a quick fun treat.....I'm thinking Halloween and Christmas for my craft shows!

Flower Shop Hello

Happy Monday, I am amazed at how fast my days are buzzing by.  My girls go back to school in two weeks and my baby boy starts kindergarten a few days after they start.  I know I will be shedding some tears when he goes to "big boy school" as he calls it.  Today I have a card using the Scalloped Tag punch, a much neglected punch in my collection.  I haven't used it near as much as I thought I would but I have some treat boxes planned soon using it.  Thanks for stopping by!
