Gift Card Holders

Today I have another gift card holder.  These have been very popular in my shop this year.  I have had several custom orders for these as well, I am working on an order for 18 right now.  Luckily they are easy to make.  I used the Top Note and the Gift Bow dies.

As you can see, I am using up a lot of retired DSP.  Thanks for stopping by!

Deck the Halls

I just thought I was done with custom orders!  I made 8 of these gift card holders for a customer.

This is the inside, I used Velcro to close them.  I used retired stamps and papers but my customers don't mind.  Thanks for stopping by!

Ornamental Pine

We got a surprise yesterday at our In color class, after we finished our projects Becky R.  had brought us 3 more projects to do.  She taught us how to put a stamped image onto a candle using wax paper.  I love how this turned out and will be making some more for sure.  She also had a snowman project, a cocoa holder using an envelope.

As you can tell, I promptly dropped mine on the ink pad after I finished it!  And the last project was an altered notebook which I think is adorable.  Thanks Becky, you made my day!

Wondrous Wreath

I have been wanting to make a door card for a while so yesterday I made one.  I really didn't like my door at home, it was a ugly brown color and I kept asking my husband if we could get a new one.  Well, it is actually a double door and an odd size which has to be ordered and is very expensive.  So I decided to paint it actually hoping that he would hate it and be forced to buy a new one.  It didn't work, I painted it  Cherry Cobbler and it turned out pretty so I guess I am not getting a new door.  I used Cherry Cobbler on my card although it looks like Real Red in the photo.  Thanks for stopping by!

A Merry Little Wish....and a Special Paper Pumpkin Offer

I really like Baked Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler together.  I heat embossed the trees with white embossing powder and then used Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details and some green Stickles.  The little silver star is left over from a Paper Pumpkin kit.

And here is the inside.  I used the leftover piece from the On Film framelit die cut on the front.

Speaking of Paper Pumpkin....did you know that you can prepay for kits?  If you prepay for a kit between now and November 30, I will send you a FREE kit to make 4 of these cards!  You can email me at dls8383@gmail.com for more details.

Bright and Beautiful

My favorite stamp set from the Holiday catalog has to be Bright and Beautiful.  I haven't  had much opportunity to work with yet so far but it is one that I will keep and use year after year... I heat embossed the stars with Cherry Cobbler and Gold embossing powder.  Thanks for stopping by!

On the First Day of Christmas....

My kids love to do a countdown to Christmas and we have done a lot of different methods over the years, all of which they enjoy.  I like to come up with different ways each year but the one thing that doesn't change is the reading of the Christmas story.  A couple of years they even acted it out and I have videos of their performances.  The stamp set (12 Days of Christmas) I used  is in the SU 2014 Holiday Supplement which you can view here.  The little boxes are in the Holiday catalog and you get 25 boxes for $6.95!  To order these supplies or any others, click on any of the products shown below and it will take you to my  SU online store.
