Hearth and Home

This is a card I have had in my mind for some time but have been so busy with custom work that I haven't had time to make it.  This is probably going to be one of the choices at our next Christmas card class. Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Banner

This is the banner I made for the dinosaur birthday party,  I will show you the invitation as soon as I make another one.  I always make me a sample to keep to show people when they are planning a party with me but I messed up this time.  I realized after I mailed this one off that I must of put my sample in the box because I can't find it anywhere.  Thanks for stopping by!

Dinosaur Birthday

Today I have the take home treats for the dinosaur party I am working on.  I found the tiny dinosaurs at Dollar Tree and they are what I based my color theme on.  I stamped on Whisper White as a backdrop for the box and then added some DSP to the back side.

I will show you more tomorrow!  Thanks for stopping by.

Dino-rrific Birthday

Whew this has been a busy week!  I have been going nonstop all week, Sadie had to get immunizations for Middle School plus we had to shop for a few things on Tuesday and then yesterday was first day of school.  I have been working on a Dinosaur themed birthday party this week.   I thought I remembered some retired DSP that had a leaf like the one in the No bones About It stamp set  so I searched through my retired stuff.  I found it!  I had just enough to make this card, the treat boxes, the invitations, and the banner which I will show you tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by!

Have a cozy Christmas

I love the Home for Christmas DSP, I wish we had a little deer stamp just like the one in this paper.  Lots of last minute things to get done before I get my kids back in school this week, off to get immunizations today.

Hearth and Home

When I did my pre-order for the holiday catalog, I meant to get the bundle that included this window die and a coordinating stamp set...but I put in the number for just the die.  So...you know how it is when you get something new and just have to use it...I found this long ago retired set called A Tree for All Seasons and gave it a try.  It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it works.  Thanks for stopping by!

Wishing You Joy

Today I have another Christmas card to share.  I really like the DSP in the Season of cheer collection.  The snowflake and the sentiments are from the stamp set Holly Jolly Greetings and both the stamp set and the paper will be available for ordering on September 1 when the Holiday catalog becomes live.  Thanks for stopping by!

Poinsetttia

I got my  pre-order from the holiday catalog!  I love the poinsettia punch and matching stamp set.  I bought  a beautiful poinsettia around Thanksgiving last year and hoped that it would stay pretty through Christmas and it did.  I had it near a sunny window and it kept blooming past Christmas and then through January, February, and March.  It looked a little ragged around April so I trimmed it a little.  It was still blooming in May so I decided to try planting it outside, it has thrived and has doubled in size and is beautiful.  I plan on digging it up before frost and bringing it inside.  Now, you have to know my flower growing skills to think this is amazing, I can kill artificial flowers!  Anyway...hope you like my paper version!

Here is the real thing...no red leaves at present but they kinda come and go, probably because I have it planted in mostly shade.  thanks for stopping by!

happy Birthday

I made today's card for my upcoming birthday buffet class.  I have used the little balloon die  from the Baker's Box set of dies for a lot of cards recently, it goes so well with this particular piece of Cherry on Top DSP.  I am taking the girls school clothes shopping today, wish me luck!

Olaf for Back to School

Olaf is still around, maybe he won't melt before winter.  I did a custom order for an Olaf birthday party and made these as treats to hand out at school.  Since the kids aren't allowed candy treats we decided to use pencils, who couldn't use a few extra pencils with school starting back soon.  She also wanted a bag to carry them to school in so I made this one.  Did you figure out what I used for the antlers...the Tree builder Punch!

Nothing cuter than 24 Olaf's peeping out of a bag!  Thanks for stopping by.

Don't forget about my August Freebie with a $40.00 order from my online store, more details here.

Ice Cream Birthday

Nothing says Summer like an ice cream cone on a hot day.  Dalton has decided that he wants to learn to ride a bicycle, he loved his tricycle when he was little but after one fall with his bicycle he was done.  Then on Saturday he decided he wants to try again(after his bike has been tucked away in the garage for two years).  We thought the best place would be the local bike/walking trail near our house. He did very well on his first attempt until he saw a rabbit, then he was off the bike chasing the rabbit which of course ran into the bushes out of sight.  But...within a mile walk/ride we saw six more rabbits and with everyone of them he was off his bike running after them until they vanished into the bushes.  I tell you all this to get to the ice cream part...it just so happens that the Dairy Queen is on the bike trail so....of course we couldn't pass it up.  What made the day even more special was the fact it was special time with just my boy....we left all the girls at home!
