Hip Hip Hooray!

Today I have another Sneak Peek from the Occasions catalog, I used the Party Pop-Up Thinlet dies for the front and for the pop-up on the inside.

It is hard to see in the photo but the pop-up is a cake platter with the words building the cake layers and then candles on top.  It as easy as scoring the card stock and then running it through the Big Shot with die.  The sentiment on my card front will also pop up and either can be used as a flat sentiment with just a little trimming.  Thanks for stopping by!

Botanical Gardens

I have had a little break and am ready to get geared up for 2016, I have been home enjoying my kiddos and all the fun that Christmas brings to our home.  We have had a blast this year, the littles (aka Ava and Dalton) have enjoyed the traditional things we do such as cookie baking, Christmas stories, decorating, Christmas Eve service at church, riding around to see the lights, writing Santa letters, the elf shenanigans, and many more.  I know they are going to "grow" out of a lot of these things soon and it makes me sad but at the same time I can't wait to see what this next year brings.

Anyway....this is a card that I made for a swap I participated in.  I love this Botanical Gardens product suite from  the the Occasions Catalog.  The DSP is gorgeous and die set has 14 dies!  I didn't send any catalogs by mail this year so if you want one, drop by and pick one up or if you don't live locally let me know and I will mail you one.

Church Among the Pines

Today I have the gifts for the kids Sunday School teachers,  My friend Kelly P. invited me to stamp with her a few weeks ago and I used some of her dies from PaperTrey  and cut out a bunch of trees.  I took my dies and shared them with her and Janice.  It was nice to get to stamp with these gals and not to have to prep for a class.  Thanks for stopping by!

Santa Penguin

Sadie decided she didn't want the project I showed you yesterday so she found this cute penguin for her teacher gifts.  Here is a link to the directions.  She has seven classroom teachers plus she wanted to give the school nurse and secretary one as well.   Thanks for stopping by!

Sleigh Ride

I had decided that I would just give my kiddos teachers gift cards this year since I have not done any shopping so far, nor baking, and the only decorating is the tree.  But, they sooo didn't like this idea.  Shelby's response was, "that is so lame".....not sure what "lame" means but I don't want anyone to think I am "so lame" .  So...I  decided this is what they are all getting along with the gift cards I had already purchased.  Now, to find the time to make 19 of these.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bloomin' Heart

I am so excited to get to make something besides Christmas, I love Christmas but it can get overwhelming at times.  This card is made with some exciting new products from the Occasions catalog which starts January 5th.  I love this intricate heart die, I think it will get used for much more than Valentines Day.  Thanks for stopping by!

Santa-tizers

I made some of these for a sweet lady who comes by every year to get something for her Sunday school class for Christmas.  I had to change my design this year since the Bath and Body hand sanitizers are a different shape.

I had a fun lunch date today, Dalton earned a Limo ride by being one of the top sellers in a school fundraiser.  They got picked up at school and then rode to Pizza hut for lunch and then rode through town a couple times and then back to school.

He was all smiles when he got out.

He told me last night he sure hoped they got cheese pizza because that's his favorite.  I asked him what a limousine was and he said it is a really long car with lots of windows and "famous" people ride in it.  I don't know about famous but I do know he is the sweetest boy I know!

Bellies full, now back to school!

Christmas Tags

I have some cute tags to show you that my daughter and I made for a friend.  She is a choir director so we decided to use the sheet music DSP from the home for Christmas pack.  We made 60 for her plus a few for us to use.

I love how they turned out, hope she likes them.  thanks for stopping by!

Leaping Deer

It had been a while sine I posted anything, I have been covered up with custom orders(still have two huge ones to go) for Christmas.  I think this has been the busiest season yet.  I took a break last night and had a class for 15 of  the teachers at West Side School.  We made this card which was inspired by one done by the talented Tenealle Williams.

I also had a wonderful Thanksgiving break with my kiddos.  Dalton and Ava have both had loose teeth which has been hilarious to watch.  Dalton finally got one out and Ava was not going to be out done so she pulled one too.  The next day Dalton pulled another one and Ava followed suit about 10 minutes later.  They carried them around for about an hour and then laid them down.  When it got bedtime, they went looking for them so the tooth fairy could come but since they both looked alike they got in a huge argument over which tooth was theirs.  I finally put them in a bag and let them draw one out, the tooth fairy came that night so they were all happy.  I got Dalton to agree to a picture but Ava wouldn't cooperate.

They both sill have two more loose teeth so this weekend will be probably be a repeat of last weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!
