Merriest Wishes

I love weekends and hardly ever am glad that they are over, but this time I am.  I don't know what was in the air but my kids couldn't get along at all this weekend.  I think it may be the fact that parade season is over for the big girls and they were bored.   I had looked forward to a quiet weekend at home but that didn't happen, I was busy refereeing Sadie and Shelby.   I did get one card made using the stocking stamp set and dies in the Holiday catalog, a set I tried to convince myself I didn't need.  I also used some of the Copper Foil paper which is gorgeous.   thanks for stopping by!

Warm Winter Wishes

I have a week before my craft show and this morning I counted my Christmas cards and realized I don't have near enough.  I have been doing this particular show for 8 years now and have built up a large repeat  customer base so I can anticipate how many I will need.  So...I guess I will not sleep much for the next week.  LOVE this set of dies and stamps!

Merriest Wishes

For today's card I used the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and framelits again.  It's hard to see but the white panel is embossed with the Woodland embossing folder and the tree has Wink of Stella brushed on.  Thanks for stopping by!

Santa's Sleigh

I have a Christmas card today with the Santa's Sleigh stamp set and matching framelit dies.  I told myself that I didn't need this set but then I couldn't resist and ordered it anyway.  I have a craft show in a couple weeks so I have been busy preparing for it but had to take time out today to make this card.  Thanks for stopping by!

Better Together Birthday

Today I have a CAS birthday card using the Cable Knit embossing folder, Warmth and Cheer DSP, and the Better Together stamp set.  I think it has a masculine feel to it so it will go to either my son Chad, my husband,  or my nephew who all have birthdays soon. Thanks for stopping by!

Craft Show Goodies Part 2

Today I have the rest of the sanitizers to share with you.  I love how these turned out, it was fun trying to come up with something to match the label of each of them.

I love the catchy names of  all of them.

Here are all 10 of them, I think I will go back to Bath and Body and see if they have any new Fall ones and maybe the Christmas ones will be out soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Craft Show Goodies

Today's project is for my upcoming craft shows, these little hand sanitizers from bath and Body are always a good selling item.  I found a tutorial for the box on Erica Cerwin's blog and then decorated them according to what was on the bottle.

This one was the favorite of my girls and Dalton as well.

This one will be for the many teacher gifts I will be making soon.

This one is my favorite.  I am working on a few more that I will share soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Peppermint Jar of Love

For today's card I used the Jar of Love stamp set and matching framelit dies.  I love that canning jars are so popular right now even though as a child I dreaded canning season.  We put our empty jars in the shed after they were emptied.  When it got time to can vegetables from our garden  my mom would give me the job of cleaning the jars and they would have spiders and spider webs in them.  I would bribe my brother to get the spiders out for me.

Today my Sadie is 13!  I am not ready for two teenagers.....she is the total opposite of Shelby.  Shelby is quiet and reserved and Sadie is bouncing off the walls and constantly playing practical jokes on me.  She is smiling all the time and the  only thing that gets her in trouble in school is talking too much.  Love my girls!

For the Newlyweds

Today I have another wedding card to share, this one for a customer.  I love how easy it is to achieve an elegant card with this die.  I have seen it used in so many ways, even for boxes.

Today is my Shelby's 18th birthday, I am so proud of her.  She is a busy girl for sure, maybe a little too busy.  She is involved in several clubs in school which require a lot of time during and after school.  This past weekend was Football Homecoming and she helped make the Senior Float, helped decorate for the Homecoming dance,  played in the band for the parade, cleaned up after the dance, and then the morning after the dance had to work in the Key Club Pancake day at 7:00 am.  When I woke her up this morning to tell her Happy birthday, she thought it was Sunday and asked if she could skip church.  Tomorrow is Sadie's birthday so I will have lots to say about her then.  They would have had the same birthday but the delivery room doctor let Shelby choose if she wanted to share her day or not, she was five at the time and said absolutely not.  So he slowed down the process until after midnight.  Love my girls!
