Label Love

When the embossing is as pretty as the Beautifully Baroque, you don't really need much else to make a card.  I noticed I was running low on wedding cards so I made a few to add to my stash.  This CAS design makes it easy to stock up.

Greetings from the Zoo

Today's card is a CAS design using Gorgeous Grunge. Hope your Sunday is going great.  My morning was absolutely c-r-a-z-y!  I got the kids up in plenty of time to get ready for church, but it was like a zoo.  The two little ones didn't cooperate at all, Ava didn't like what I picked out for her to wear and Dalton must of grown last night because the pants I chose for him were too short.  He wanted to wear them anyway and I had to force him to change and then he packed his backpack full of toys to tote along.  He cried when I forced him to only pick two toys and then had to be carried to the car.  Ava ran ahead and  fell so she was crying as well. Then we had to rearrange car seats because I usually have the two little ones sitting side by side so that the other seat can be let down for the older two to sit in the third row.  But today that wasn't going to work,  Ava and Dalton refused to sit close together. We finally made it to church and about half way through the service,  I remembered one thing that I forgot to do.  My stomach started growling so loud that people were turning to look at me as I tried to shrink down in my seat.    How embarrassing!  It is official, I live in a ZOO!

SAB Banner

Forgive my terrible photo. banners are hard for me to photograph.  The is the FREE banner in the SAB catalog, isn't it cute.  I did add a few little extra such as buttons and ribbons but you get plenty to make a good size banner,  I even had several pieces left over from the kit.

Here is a closeup of one section.  Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Minion Love

I am not sure what the attraction is to minions but my kids love anything minion.  Sadie has a crocheted hat, a shirt, a key chain, a movie, a stuffed character....wish I had thought of them.  When I saw this one on Pinterest, I knew  had   to make one.  Sadie wants me to make 26 of theses for her class as Valentines but that's not happening....maybe this one....

This one is much easier, just wrap the paper around a Twinkie and add a big googlie eye.  Thanks for stopping by!

Memories

Isn't this the most beautiful place in the world.  It certainly is to me, this is a spot just a 1/4 from where I grew up.  I am posting this today because I am also missing my sweet daddy, he has been gone 10 years today.

Seasonal Sayings

Whenever I am shopping I am always looking for things to alter or use for treats.  I came across these Push Pop holders and bought a package several months ago.  I filled it with Hershey's Kisses.  I took the push part out for the photograph and one of the kids said it looked like a robot....I might just have to make a robot next.  I think a mini cupcake would fit in them as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Valentines Day

I found these cute heart straws at a craft store and couldn't resist buying them.  I used one of the little coffee cups left over from Christmas and added some More Amour DSP and some hearts.  I wanted to add an arrow and was surprised when my sentiment fit perfectly on it.  Love when it just works out the way you want it to!  I filled the cup with candy kisses.

Weekly Deals

Here are the items on sale this week.   I use a lot of buttons and these Vintage Faceted buttons will match anything since they are clear.  Let me know if you need something, you can't order through my website at present.  My credit card was one of the ones compromised in the big Target ordeal so I had to cancel it.  I should be getting a new one very soon.

Retro Fresh Grunge

Yesterday the kids were out of school so of course they had to be entertained,  Sadie went ice skating with a few friends while Shelby and I went shopping and had lunch.  It was a fun day but couldn't believe how tired I was last night.

I had a Spotlight class scheduled in November using the Gorgeous Grunge set but with all the family illnesses had to reschedule it.  I am also offering the class as a kit in the mail, I will post the details after I post the three projects.

Love You to the Moon

Good Sunday morning!  I played with the  new Scalloped Punch yesterday and made some Valentine treats.  The DSP is from the Fresh Prints stack.  I cut my  Whisper White paper 2 x 8 1/2, punched both ends,  scored at 4 and 4 1/2, folded, and then tied together with Silver Baker's Twine.  I put a peppermint patty in but I think any small candy would fit.

These were very quick and are perfect for giving a little something, Valentine season is as busy for me as Christmas so I love this and you will probably see more with this punch.  Gotta run, time to get the kids up for church.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Lovely

Good morning!  We had an early(8am) volleyball game this morning, this is the first time for one of the kids to play volleyball but I think this could be Sadie's sport. She is loving it.  Today I have a Valentine to share, I used some More Amore DSP which came from the clearance rack.  The stamp set is in the called Hello Lovely.  I cut out the Pool Party piece with the On Film Framelit die.  A little punched heart finishes it off.

Breaking News!!!!  Stampin' Up' will soon start to sell alcohol markers!!!  I am very excited about this, I have used other brands and they are perfect for coloring images.  I am so glad that SU listens to their demonstrators and gives us trendy as well as useful products.  The markers are called Blendabilities.  I can't wait!

Retro Fresh Birthday

Good morning!  I am starting to work on some Occasions classes, we usually do birthdays first.  I love the new Retro Fresh DSP . I combined banners from three framelit sets, Chalk Talk, Bitty Banners, and the Banners set from Occasions catalog.

I got a lot done yesterday but was exhausted after getting home, dinner done, a couple loads of laundry, and homework done.  I sat down a few minutes before getting the kids ready for bed and fell asleep.  Shelby woke me up at 9:00 and I thought the house sounded unusually quiet, she and Sadie had got the two little ones ready for bed.....bed time snack, teeth brushed, stories read, listened to prayers, and ASLEEP!!!  Now this is not an easy task as it usually involves at least one crying, a little fussing, and several trips out of bed to go to the bathroom or get a drink of water.  I was so proud of them and so THANKFUL for the extra rest.  I love my kiddos!

Love You

Good morning!  I am so ready for Spring....enough snow already.  My kids are still out of school from Christmas break, they love school(except Dalton) and were disappointed when it was called off again for today.  I apologize for my poor photograph, I sneaked off last night to stamp  and colors don't photograph well at night. My card base is Bermuda Bay with a layer of embossed Strawberry Slush.  The DSP is from the Kaleidoscope collection available in the Occasions catalog.  The sentiment is from the Love You to the Moon stamp set.

and a view of the inside.  This is one of the cards for an upcoming class.  Thanks for stopping by!

Have a wonderful weekend, thanks for stopping by!

love you

Good morning!  Today I have another Valentine to share.  I only inked part of a sentiment from a retired stamp to get the part I wanted.   I made this one for my Sadie girl.  At least ten times a day she will say, "Hey, Mom," and when I say "What", she says...."love you".  I love my girl!  Thanks for stopping by

Banner Blast

Good morning, it snowed last night so i had to add a little snow to my photograph.  I love this new DSP, Retro Fresh in the Occasions catalog and since SU didn't give us any Valentine paper this time I decided to use it.  The only thing is, it doesn't have any red in it.  It does coordinate with Tangerine Tango so I guess that is the new red.  The little banner is made with the banner punch(SAB) and the Banner Blast stamp set which is also SAB and available Jan 26.  Thanks for stopping by!
