Spread Some Christmas Cheer

I have a card in a bag to share today.  These glassine bags are retired but we still have sheets of glassine available in the Annual catalog that could be used for this project.  I used Warmth and Cheer DSP for the circle behind the tree and the Gold Baker's twine is from the  Baker's Twine Trio pack available in the Holiday Catalog.

This is the inside piece which will have a gift card attached to the back of it.  I made this circle a little smaller than the one on the front of the tree so that it was hidden behind the front embellishment.  Thanks for stopping by!

Jolly Friends

Today's card was made with the Jolly Friends stamp set and coordinating Jolly Hat Builder punch.  The moose is my favorite from this set although the Santa is fun as well with all the accessories for him.  The DSP is from the Warmth & Cheer DSP  Stack.  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Wishes

I made a bunch of cards last year using this corrugated card stock but they were all for Fall but it can also be used for Christmas.  And the best part is that it is now on the Clearance Rack at a huge savings. I saw several cards similar to this one on Pinterest.  Thanks for stopping by!

Beary Merry Christmas

I think this little bear from the Christmas Cookie Cutter set is adorable.  The card base is from a retired kit.  My Shelby wanted Christmas cards to give to her friends and this is the one she picked out.  I also made one using the Gingerbread Boy but she chose the bear, now I have to get busy and make 19 more!

You Are Amazing

Fall is my favorite time of the year and we are having wonderful Fall weather this year, brisk mornings and just warming up to a pleasant temperature for the afternoon.  I hope this produces colorful Fall foliage this year.  I miss the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and the magnificent display Fall brings there but I will settle for pretty leaves in my yard  and paper leaves until I can make it back there.  Thanks for stopping by!

Merriest Wishes

Today's card was made with the Jar of Cheer stamp set.  I used Emerald Envy and Delightful Dijon for the card stock.  I wasn't a big fan of Emerald Envy when it first came out but I love how it looks with the Delightful Dijon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Wetlands Sympathy Card

Today I have a sympathy card to share using the Serene Scenery DSP from the annual catalog and the Wetlands stamp set.  My Shelby asked me to make a card for her friend in band whose grandfather passed away.  I love that she is in band mainly because of all the close friendships that have developed from it.  They are a very hard working and intelligent group of kids who get together outside of band and have fun and  are 100% committed to maintaining their winning record in competitions.  Thanks for stopping by!

Scarecrow Cookie Cutter

Love this little scarecrow!  I used the Cable Knit embossing folder on the Very Vanilla panel which is must have from the Holiday catalog.  I almost always make two of whatever I am working on, usually identical but today I changed the colors up a little on the second one.

I  prefer Tangerine Tangelo over Pumpkin Pie so the second one is my favorite.  I also wanted to let you know that new items have been added to the Clearance Rack at a savings of up to 60% off while supply lasts.  Thanks for stopping by!

Detailed Santa

This die was one of the things at the top of my "have to have" list from the Holiday catalog and was on my first order.  But, today was the first day I have had time to use it.  I am caught up for the moment on custom orders but I am sure that won't last long so I took advantage of today and made a few Christmas cards.  Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Cookie Cutter

I have been making a few Halloween treats for a craft  show using the Halloween Cookie Cutter cuties.  the scarecrow is my favorite.

This one reminds of my Dalton boy, the dark hair and the teeth.  He lost his two front teeth about 8 months ago and the new ones didn't start to come in until recently and then only one came in so his smile was a little quirky.  The other one has finally broken through the skin but has a way to go before catching up with the other one.  thanks for dropping by!

Pretty Packaging

I love giving handmade gifts at Christmas especially for those I know appreciate the work involved.  I made this box to hold a small scrapbook that I am working on for one of my girls.  It measures 7x7 and my scrapbook is 6x6.

Here is another view of the top, I kept the embellishments minimal in order to highlight the gorgeous Cable Knit embossing of the red panel.

Here is a video so you can make one for yourself!  Thanks for stopping by!

I am so glad the Vintage Leaves stamp set made it into the annual catalog because it is my all time favorite leaf stamps.  I pulled my leaf colors from this gorgeous Moroccan DSP, they are Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, and Dapper Denim.  thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Treat Bag

I don't usually do a lot of Halloween projects, it seems Halloween has changed so much over the years
and   kids don't go door to door anymore.   That has been replaced by Trunk or Treat which is a really good thing since it is so much safer and so easy.  Our church does Trunk or Treat every year and usually has hundreds of kids pass through and it is such a good evangelism tool as well.  We have them fill out an information sheet so that we can send them an invitation to church and tell them about all the programs we offer for kids and adults.  I usually work in it in some capacity and donate the candy that I would have given out at my house.  This project was made with the Bag Punch Board, I tend to forget about my punch boards, I need to use them more often.  Thanks for stopping by!
