I'm Hooked on You

I have had some problems with getting my photos to upload so I haven't posted in a few days, I don't know what I did to get it to work but just thankful that it is.   This is Dalton's Valentines to give to his classmates for this year.  I have Whales in this bag but I bought Goldfish today for the ones he will share.  Ava has her choice narrowed down to 5 different ones so she may have decided by Valentines day.  Thanks for stopping by!

Nailed It

I  struggle sometimes making masculine cards but I really like this one.  I combined the Build it Framelit dies with a sentiment from Perfect Mix and Custom Tee stamp sets.  I forgot to add the Urban Underground DSP to my last order but this retired DSP works just as well.   I also used the Hexagons Dynamic Embossing Folder.  Thanks for stopping by!

Love You Lots

Today I have another card from our Pinterest class to share.  The original card was not Stampin' Up! but I recreated it with all Stampin' Up except the embossed Pink Pirouette piece.  Here is a link to Glenda's pin.  When I scheduled this new class, I was a little unsure if it was one that I would continue to offer but now that the first one is done, I will most definitely put on next months schedule.  Not only did it challenge me to step out of my comfort zone, but I enjoyed it as well.  thanks for stopping by!

Country Livin'

Here is another card from our Pinterest class, this is one I had pinned as well but needed a nudge to go ahead an make it.  Here is a link to this one found on Stampin' along with Heidi.  I didn't have the exact DSP she used but I am good at improvising.  Thanks for stopping by!

Pinterest Class

I added a new class to my monthly schedule, a Pinterest class.  Do you have thousands of things pinned that you really want to make but just never have everything you need or the time to get to them done.  I certainly do!  I asked my ladies to send me pins from their boards that they wanted to make  and I would try to CASE them and then they could come to class and make them .  Here is a link to this card created by Dawn Griffith, changed only slightly.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cool Treats

I have a little box of 3x3 cards to share today made with the Cool Treats Suite.  My kiddos get invited to a lot of birthday parties so these will come on handy.

I made two of each design and left the sentiment off the last one since I sometimes give their teachers a gift certificate to Dairy Queen at the end of the school year as a thank you.  Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday Balloons

I usually don't like to mix so many patterns on a card as I did in this one but I got a little carried away with the Party animal DSP.  Thanks for stopping by!

The Moroccan DSP is my favorite from the Annual Catalog and my go to for masculine cards.  This was one of the cards we made in class this week.  Thanks for stopping by!

From My Heart to Yours

Today's card is a simple Valentine that was quick and easy to make, which is what I need these days.  I am so busy with my kiddos, there is hardly any time for anything but driving them from place to place.  We have had somewhere to be every evening this week.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Love

Today I have a Valentine card to share made with the Sent with Love stamp set. Love the lipstick kiss that's in this set.  I remember when I was young writing love letters to whoever I had a crush on and sealing them with a lipstick kiss and then never actually giving them to him because I was totally the shyest kid in school.  I thought it would be fun to stamp it on the cards I give to my kiddos as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Roy and Martha

Today I have another card from the SAB stamp set Hey, Chick!  If you are wondering about the title of my post, there is a little story to go with it.  My mom had an aunt and uncle named Roy and Martha and they were quite the pair.  Roy was a drinker and Martha did not like it and she let him know it.  The more she complained, the more he drank and the funnier he got as far as us kids were concerned.  We loved him dearly because he played with us and always had a funny joke to tell.  He gave us two baby chickens once and of course we had to name them Roy and Martha.  They were so tame that they would allow us to carry them around and we would  put Roy in a sand bucket and he was so fat he couldn't get out.  But one day it started to rain and we ran in the house and left Roy in the sand bucket and he drowned.  A short time later a  fox got Martha.  I knew when I saw this stamp set that I had to put this story with it, just had to!

A Little Pun Intended

My favorite Sale a Bration stamp set is the Hey, Chick and so far it has also been a favorite of my customers.  I specially love the little cracked egg with feet in this set so I combined it with the dozen of eggs from the Perfect Mix stamp set.  Love it, and know exactly who I am sending this card to.  My son Seth is dyslexic and all through school he had teachers describe him as "floats his own boat",
"sings to a different tune", "unique",  "different","a genius in math but can't read", and many, many more. He even had one teacher who must have thought he was an alien because he asked him to levitate a pencil!  It was very frustrating for him during his grade school years but when he got to high school he finally had a teacher who totally understood him and he taught him to read.  Now we laugh about it so I know he will find this card amusing although he is probably more like one in a million.

Balloon Adventures

Today I have a birthday card to share, the front is clean and simple but open it up and there is a WOW factor for sure.

Most of my cards are fairly simple but this one not so much.  I used the Balloon Adventures stamp set and the Balloon pop-Up Thinlet dies that are on page 5 of the Occasions catalog.  The DSP is from Party Animal.

I did struggle at first making it but then I found a Stampin' Up video that really helped.  The Thinlet die cuts, scores and embosses!  I got  a little cracking on one of my score lines but I may try a different sandwich the next time I cut one out.

Here is  the video from Stampin' Up! And, today is the day that YOU can order from the Occasions catalog and even earn FREE merchandise from the Sale a Bration catalog.  Thanks for stopping by!

Window Box

I think this little box just might be my favorite thing in the Occasions Catalog which you can order from starting tomorrow!  I made both my big girls one to hold little keepsakes in.  this one is for Sadie.

It comes with three different dies to decorate the sides of the box with and one for the top plus several others.

This one is for Shelby, she is re-decorating her room and is using Black, white, and Copper as her colors so I lined  the diecut spaces with Copper foil paper.

I also added a second diecut layer on the top of this one.  Thanks for stopping by!

Cool Treats

Today I have a CAS card with the Cool Treats stamp sets and the Tasty Treats Specialty DSP.  I love the color combo in the DSP which is Chocolate chip, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizazz, Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party. Watermelon Wonder, and Whisper White.  Thanks for stopping by!
