My kids love converse tennis shoes so I had to get this cute SAB set more for scrap booking than anything although I love how this card turned out.  My youngest son Seth insisted on buying a pair of pink high top Converse when he was was in Kindergarten.  My husband wasn't too happy about it but Seth loved them and wore them until they were coming apart.

I really like this stamp set probably because I am an avid bird watcher and love to plant flowers.  I am so looking forward to Spring and all that it brings.  Hope your day is awesome!

Can't Have a Rainbow Without Rain

I can see my rainbow in the distance with my journey through cancer, it's getting closer everyday! The fact that I broke my right arm in the middle of it hasn't helped but hopefully I get the cast off in a couple weeks.  It took me several attempts to make this card so I probably won't post very often until the cast is gone.  Thanks for sticking with me!

This is the card I gave my husband for Valentines Day.  I don't know how I would have made it through the last 6 months if he hadn't taken on running the household, taking kids to school, cooking, cleaning, listening to me complain, grocery shopping, and working at his job every day.  I know he was afraid that the outcome would not be good but he didn't let me see that, he was the one that kept me from giving up so many times.

Hello friends, I wanted to touch base to let you know my stamping status.  I have finished my radiation treatments and am gaining a little more strength every day.  However my broken arm has been slow to heal so I am still in a cast and my knee is still very swollen and painful.  I am planning to be in my shop some starting Monday.  However keep in mind that I will have to limit the amount of time until I am back up to speed.  Thanks so much for the prayers, cards, rides to the Cancer Center, and meals for my family.  I appreciate everyone of you!!!

Hello Friend

It has been a while since I stamped or posted something, over a month actually.  I have started to feel somewhat better just the last few days, I never imagined how much cancer takes from you.  I have 12 more radiation treatments left and have started the chemotherapy as well so I may not post anything consistently but will when I feel up to it.  I am so grateful for the ladies in my church who have driven me to treatments when my husband had to work so I made 25 of these cards for them.  Thanks for stopping by!
