Spreading a Little Christmas Cheer

Good morning!  Today I have another treat to share.  I used Christmas Tagables Photopolymer stamp set to make the tag.  The candy cane is retired.  Busy day ahead, thanks for stopping by!

Santa's List

Good morning!  I have a cute test tube holder treat to share today.  My friend Trudy had these as one of her projects last Saturday when we had our Christmas Card Shoebox swap.  I loved it so I made a few for my craft show this weekend.  I used Santa's List stamp set.  I have to shop for some candy to fill all my little treat containers, I can't do it early since there is a 4 year old candy thief at my house.  Thanks for stopping by!

Kids Thanksgiving Table

Good morning!  My girls get excited about decorating the Thanksgiving table every year.  Most years we only have one table but we are having lots of guests this year so we decided to do a kids table.  The girls both love Pinterest and have been finding lots of cute ideas.  I am not linking to the pins but here is the list., Melissa Davies, Peurta Bella, Angie Juda, and Lisa Brown.

Mr. Turkey is made using the Gift Bow die from the Holiday Mini catalog.  He is glued onto a little 4 oz. cup and holds candy corn.

Love this idea, a Pilgrim's hat filled with crayons to keep them busy as the meal is served.  I have some coloring pages copied but their table will also be covered with white paper so they can scribble on it as well.

This is Sadie's favorite part, making place cards.  She also makes everybody sit in their assigned seat, no changing seats!

This is something we have done for  several years now.  Since we have a rule that nobody is allowed to pass through the kitchen and taste test, these snacks keep them from "starving".

We always list what we are thankful for and I save the lists and read some of the ones from recent years  back as everyone is filling in the new ones.  We get some really funny ones sometimes, a couple years ago someone listed gravy and Dalton listed Toy Story, Woody, and Buzz last year.

And last is the plasticware holder, yes I use plastic utensils for the kids but the adults get real ones.  Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee Tote

Good morning!  I have been busy getting ready for a craft show, Heritage Festival, this coming weekend.  I always do really well at this one so I have to have a lot of things on hand.  These little coffee cups have been popular in my shop so I know they will be a hit there as well.

Snow Much Fun

Joyful Christmas

Good morning!  Today I have another Christmas card with the Joyful Christmas stamp set, it is my favorite from the Holiday Mini.  I used Real Red and Tempting Turquoise this time.  The poinsettia is stamped on vellum card stock in Encore Silver ink and then added Tempting Turquoise embossing powder.  It is hard to tell but the silver peaks through just a little to give extra sparkle.  This is one of the cards for my monthly Christmas card class.  thanks for stopping by!

O Holy Night

Good morning!  Do you ever have days when it seems you go in circles all day and  accomplish nothing, that was yesterday for sure.  I have a million things that I need to get done and yet I can't stay focused on them.  I did manage to get one card done, this card was inspired by one made by Shelli Gardener and her daughter Sara.  I love the look of white on white but it doesn't show up very well when photographed.  I stamped the main image in Encore Gold ink and the used gold embossing powder over it.  It seems the gold ink by itself doesn't work very well on Whisper White or Very Vanilla but embossing it keeps it from smearing.  I added a little banner of the Gold Foil paper as well.  Thanks for stopping by!

Out on a Limb

Good morning!  Today's card was requested by a customer.  She wanted a birthday card to give to her niece whose birthday is on Halloween.  She is also pregnant with twin girls so she wanted that incorporated into the card as well and she wanted a witch image on the card.  She hasn't picked it up yet so I hope it works.  Thanks for stopping by!

Singing Snowman

Good Sunday morning!  Today's card was a fun one made at the request of my baby boy, Dalton.  He loves to sit in my chair with me as I am on Pinterest and he looks for Santa cards.  He saw a card by Sharyn Jensen, a very talented punch artist. and thought it was a laughing snowman and wanted me to make him one.  I pick him up from school and he hangs out with me every almost every day and I have to make him something which usually involves pirates and m&m's so I was surprised at this request.

Happy Fall Birthday

Good morning!  Today I have another punch project.  I will be sad when fall is over and I have to put Magnificent Maple away, it has seen some use this season.  I made this for my oldest daughter, Heather, whose birthday is today! Happy 37th Heather!  We are off to an early parade this morning, my Shelby is marching, sure hope the rain stops.

Here is the inside.  Thanks for stopping by!

Six Sided Sampler

Good morning!  Today I have a Christmas card to share using the Six Sided Sampler stamp set and punch.  I had some 1/4 inch strips of Gold Foil sheets left from another project and couldn't bear to throw them away so I added them to this card.  They really add a touch of elegance.  I also used Metallic Gold ink for the sentiment.  The medallion really challenged the ladies in my punch class but they have  come to expect a good challenge every month.  I have seen several cards(Stamping Up and non SU) using the punch this way, I am not sure who came up with the idea but I like it.  Thanks for stopping by!

Get Well Wishes

Good Morning!  Today I have a card made with the Little Friends stamp set.  A few weeks ago a couple of our local doctors were involved in an explosion in Florida, one of them died in the explosion and the other was seriously injured.  He has been in an induced coma since but they are going to wake him up this week.  One the nurses he worked with asked if I would do a card for him.  Since he is a Pediatrician, she asked for something with kids on it and to add something doctor related. What do you think, does it work?  Thanks for stopping by!

Ghost Poop

Good morning!  I have a fun Halloween treat today made with MDS.  I don't use MDS very often but a customer asked me to make 24 of these treats for her daycare kids so I thought this would be the quickest way.  I used the ghost from Spooky Bingo Bits and enlarged it.  In the photo the text looks smeared but it is actually the drop shadow behind it, it looks good IRL(was very hard to photograph).  The test tubes are filled with mini marshmallows.  Thanks for stopping by!

Color Me Christmas

Good Monday morning!  Today I have some tags to share using the stamp set Color Me Christmas from the Holiday Mini catalog.  I have a box that I store all the leftover die cuts and pieces from classes and ever so often I pull it out and put all the scraps to good use.  I also have my biggest craft show of the year coming up and tags are always a good selling item.  So I made a few...

Did you get a chance to be outside this weekend.  We had beautiful Fall weather and I snapped a few photos of the kiddos.  Of course Shelby wouldn't participate, she is 15 now and much to grown up to take "silly photos".

The two little ones, Ava and Dalton, refused to put on clothes all weekend except when we went to church.  Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Greetings

Good afternoon!  Today i have a Christmas card made with the Warmth and Wonder hostess set.  I pulled out a box of scraps and leftovers yesterday and was determined to use some of them up.  The only thing that wasn't  in the box was the deer image so this was a very quick and easy card to put together.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Day

Good morning!  For today's card I used the stamp set Gorgeous Grunge along with my favorite Fall color combo, Tangerine Tango, Coastal Cabana, and Baked Brown Sugar.  Feathers are very trendy right now so I gave them a try.  Just cut a circle and then use an oval punch to punch out the feather shape, score down the middle, and then use scissors to cut the edges.  Thanks for stopping by!

Autumn Birthday

Good morning!  Today I have another card using the Best of Autumn stamp set.  The leaf image is embossed in gold and then sponged with Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, and Island Indigo ink.  I love how the embossed wood grain Island Indigo turned out.  Thanks for stopping by.

Harvest

Good Monday morning!  Today I have another wreath to share, this one is a CASE from the catalog.  I used different papers and changed the banner a little.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Anniversary

Good morning!  Today I have an anniversary card made for a customer.  I had actually forgottten that I had this stamp set, Memorable Moments, until I looked for something anniversary.  I used Brushed Gold, Smoky slate, and Very Vanilla card stock and Encore Gold ink.  Thanks for stopping by!

Perfect Blend Gift Card Holder

Good morning!  Today I have more Perfect Blend goodies to share.  Have I told you how much I like this stamp set?

I used a pretzel bag to hold a single serving of Starbucks coffee along with a couple coffee flavored candies.

I used the Card Base Pop and Cuts die and then folded it into a gift card holder.

I made a few of these for a customer and she picked them up yesterday and decided she wants a few more so I better get busy, thanks for stopping by!

Give Thanks

Good morning!  Today I have a Mini Muslin bag all decorated and ready to go on a Thanksgiving table.  Every Thanksgiving we mix up a trail mix and put it in some cute little container and add it to the table decor.  I think I will convince my girls to make this one this year(they are rather fond of making punch turkeys).  I used the Chalk Talk Framelit die to cut the tag.  The apple image and the sentiment are both from the Best of Autumn stamp set.  Thanks for stopping by!

Chalk Talk Tag

Good morning!  Today I have a cute little burlap bag to share, these are just like the Mini Muslin bags from SU except they are burlap(I have one done with the muslin bags to show you tomorrow).  I used Chalk Talk framelits to cut out the tag and then stamped the image from Best of Autumn.  The ribbon is the 7/8 inch Cotton ribbon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Best of Autumn

Good morning!  Today's card was made with the Circle Thinlit Card die, these cards are so easy to make but so hard to photograph.  They are much prettier IRL.  I also used the Best of Autumn stamp set along with some retired DSP.  The DSP for Fall/Halloween in this years catalog is more for Halloween whereas this one, Howlstooth and Scaringbone worked well for either.  I added a punch pumpkin to the front.

On the inside...two more images from Best of Autumn and a sentiment die cut with the Expressions Thinlit die from the Holiday Mini catalog.  Thanks for stopping by!
