Nutty or Nice?

This is another stamp set that is fun to color.  The mustache was cut with the framelit die and the card base is a leftover from a paper Pumpkin kit.  Thanks for stopping by!

Under the Tree

Today I have a Christmas card made with some of the leftovers from the jars I shared yesterday.  I think the Under the Tree Specialty DSP from the Holiday catalog is some of the prettiest papers we have had in a few years.  It is a cardstock-weight kraft  paper that has a color print on one side and and a white print on the other.  Thanks for stopping by!

A Little Something

My husband has a Coal Mine Training business and most of his work is done in his facility but he has a few bigger companies out of town that he travels to and does training for usually in December.  He asked me if I would make a little something he could give to the office staff of some of these companies.  I made up about 20 of these little jars and filled them M&M's for him to take with him on his next trip.

It is hard to believe that October is almost gone, I have spent most of it in doctors offices but am happy to say that I am slowly getting my strength back and have stamped a few things.  I got the results of my PET scan last week and there is only a small spot on my spleen.  After hearing my options about what to do about it, my doctor and I decided to just let it be until January and then repeat the PET scan.  He will do some type of surgery either way, if it has grown bigger he will remove the entire spleen, if it is the same he will take out the spot.  My question was what if it is gone....and his reply was we can hope.....mine was ...you know anything is possible with GOD!  Thank you for your prayers!

Thank You!

I thought I should give you an update on what I have learned so far...(I have read every email and text message and it helps to know that you are helping me to pray) ...not a whole lot but hopefully I will be able to tell you more this week.  I had my PET scan done on Saturday and the Echocardiogram done on Wednesday last week.  I go back to the Oncologist the 22nd for those results and I am praying I will have surgery very soon afterward.  I haven't done very much as far as stamping, I have a lot of pain.  I know a lot of people are praying and I appreciate each and every one of you, thank you!

Where I've been.....

I have had a few emails wondering why I haven't posted very often lately, so I thought I would post to let you know what is going on.   I am having some health issues, nothing serious..but does require I tend to it and means I may not post very often for a little while.

On a GOOD note, one of my cards was featured by Josee Smuck on her blog , so go check it out!

Happy Blessings

Today I have a card made from a retired stamp set that I have always liked but have rarely used called Happy Blessings.  I haven't used it much because it is one that needs to be colored... but now that we have the fabulous Blendabilities I am pulling those sets out and using them.  I love how this card turned out, thanks for stopping by!

Endless Wishes

Today I have a Christmas card with the stamp set Endless Wishes.  I love the quality of  the Stampin' Up! photopolymer stamps, I have tried some from other companies and was very dissatisfied with how they stamped.    There is a new photopolymer set available on October 14 which I can't wait to get my hands on.  You can check it out here.  Thanks for stopping by!

From Our Home to Yours

This is another project we made at the Tools on Tuesday class this week.  This little box was made with the Envelope Punch Board and was easy to assemble.  To make it you cut your card stock at 6 1/4  by 6 1/4 inches, punch and score at 2 5/8 and 3 5/8 on all four sides, fold and glue together..  I put my sentiment on top f the box.

Thanks for stopping by!

Tools on Tuesday

We had our tools on Tuesday class yesterday, this time we used the Envelope Punch Board.   Since these file folder cards are so easy to make we started with that.  I used some of my all time favorite DSP, Retro Fresh(retired).  It is perfect for Fall projects. Thanks for stopping by!
