Pirate Valentine

I know who I am giving this Valentine to....my Dalton boy...he loves pirates.  He and I built a huge pirate ship last night from Legos.  He and Ava  got a lot of Lego sets for Christmas, Ava has already opened all hers and mixed the pieces together and hasn't built anything.  Dalton's are stacked neatly on the shelf from smallest to largest and he takes them down one at a time and builds them and will still keep the boxes with the directions in it. This is part of the Hey, Valentine set and is perfect for coloring with Blendabilities.    Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. I Love You

I don't know about you but I am excited to work on Valentines.  I sell my cards and last year I was scrambling the last few days before Valentines Day to get enough made.  The DSP is from a paper stack in the Occasions catalog, Stacked with Love.  I used a retired stamp set called P.S. I  Love You.  The hearts are cut with Hearts a Flutter and Hearts Collection framelit dies.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thank You

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!  We certainly did, the littles were happy as could be  and the bigs all came by throughout the day.  My house is a mess but I am just going to let it be for the weekend and then I will make the littles take all their gifts to their own rooms, it is fun to watch them play and they even shared yesterday(that's a miracle in itself).

My card today is a sneak peek of the stamp set Painted Petals from the Occasions catalog.  It is a two-step set and has some beautiful coordinating DSP which I forgot to put on my order last time.  I made this to send as thank you for Christmas gifts.  Thanks for stopping by!

I am having fun with my new products from the Occasions Catalog, I love this new Bow Builder punch. My card today is a CASE of one in the catalog but I stepped it up a little.   The DSP I used is called Birthday Bash.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of You

I love this butterfly from the Occasions 2015 catalog.  It is part of the Butterflies Thinlit Die set and has a matching stamp set, Butterfly Basics.  I cut it twice, once with Pink Pirouette and again in Silver Foil paper.  The DSP is a sneak peek as well  called Something Borrowed.

I made this card for a sweet friend in my Sunday School class.  She has battled cancer twice and now it is back.  She has decided that she is not going to do treatments this time.  I joined this class about a year ago and the ladies in the class are quite a bit older than me but I felt that God was leading me to  that class(even though it is affectionately known as the last class before Heaven).  I had worked with four year olds for the past 10 years and was needing a break.  I instantly fell in love with this group, they nicknamed me "the baby".  I love all of them but J. is my favorite, Heaven awaits my dear friend.

Hey, Valentine

Is it too early...for Valentines???  I think probably so but I am tired of making Christmas things, not tired of Christmas...just tired of Christmas cards.  I am really excited about Christmas morning, I think I have managed to fill all the little's(Shelby,Sadie,Dalton, and Ava) lists and the bigs (Heather,Chad, and Seth) are getting money and gift cards.  Anyway, I have a sneak peek of a Valentine set from the Occasions Catalog available January 6.  Did you notice the new colors of  Blendabilities....Bermuda bay, Pink Pirouette, Soft Sky, and wild Wasabi!  Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Lip Balm Holders

I think this has been the busiest Christmas season I have ever had, this is another custom order ready to go out the door!  I made 14 lip balm holders for our pastor's grandmother to give to her Sunday school class.

Here is the inside.

I took a few pictures of three of my kiddos yesterday, Shelby who is 16 won't participate any more.

And one outside.  Thanks for stopping by!

Merry Christmas

Everything on this card except the round ornament was a leftover from other projects or classes.  I am trying to use up some of these leftovers and scrap pieces to make room for new papers from my preorder for the Occasions Catalog.

More custom orders, I hope you aren't tired of seeing these.  I haven't had time for anything else but I am so grateful to have the extra money at Christmas time.  These are the Decorative Window Gift Boxes on page 200 of the annual catalog,

Christmas Notecard

I have a customer who likes to send notecards to people who visit her church.  She comes in about once a month and buys her birthday cards and a new stash of notecards.  She is the sweetest lady and I always enjoy visiting with her.  I really admire her ministry as well, if we all showed a little extra kindness and thoughtfulness....imagine the possibilities.

Many Merry Stars

It has been a while since I have stamped something for myself, I have been covered up with custom orders.  It has been wonderful to make extra money for Christmas but every time  I pass those new stamp sets, I want to make something with them. My card today was inspired by this card by Connie Babbert.  I love this stamp set, Many Merry Stars.  Thanks for stopping by!
