Baby Boy

For this baby card I combined some new products with some retired ones.  Baby cards are my favorites to make and send.  This little boat stamp has seen a lot of use over the years, it is from a retired set called Nursery Necessities.

Label Love

When the embossing is as pretty as the Beautifully Baroque, you don't really need much else to make a card.  I noticed I was running low on wedding cards so I made a few to add to my stash.  This CAS design makes it easy to stock up.

Gorgeous Grunge Valentine

I finally got to have my Gorgeous Grunge Spotlight class.  This is where we take one stamp set and make three projects using it, it is free to those who buy the stamp set.  This time I had 5 projects and participants could choose three.  These bags from the Idea Book and Catalog make such cute packaging and are economical at only $3.95 for 10.

Don't forget SAB started yesterday!

I am really enjoying the new banner Framelit dies from the Occasions catalog and the Banner Punch from SAB.  I like having all the sizes to work with.  Banners are trendy and have been for a while. I appreciate  Stampin' Up! giving us products that are trendy.

Greetings from the Zoo

Today's card is a CAS design using Gorgeous Grunge. Hope your Sunday is going great.  My morning was absolutely c-r-a-z-y!  I got the kids up in plenty of time to get ready for church, but it was like a zoo.  The two little ones didn't cooperate at all, Ava didn't like what I picked out for her to wear and Dalton must of grown last night because the pants I chose for him were too short.  He wanted to wear them anyway and I had to force him to change and then he packed his backpack full of toys to tote along.  He cried when I forced him to only pick two toys and then had to be carried to the car.  Ava ran ahead and  fell so she was crying as well. Then we had to rearrange car seats because I usually have the two little ones sitting side by side so that the other seat can be let down for the older two to sit in the third row.  But today that wasn't going to work,  Ava and Dalton refused to sit close together. We finally made it to church and about half way through the service,  I remembered one thing that I forgot to do.  My stomach started growling so loud that people were turning to look at me as I tried to shrink down in my seat.    How embarrassing!  It is official, I live in a ZOO!

SAB Banner

Forgive my terrible photo. banners are hard for me to photograph.  The is the FREE banner in the SAB catalog, isn't it cute.  I did add a few little extra such as buttons and ribbons but you get plenty to make a good size banner,  I even had several pieces left over from the kit.

Here is a closeup of one section.  Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Minion Love

I am not sure what the attraction is to minions but my kids love anything minion.  Sadie has a crocheted hat, a shirt, a key chain, a movie, a stuffed character....wish I had thought of them.  When I saw this one on Pinterest, I knew  had   to make one.  Sadie wants me to make 26 of theses for her class as Valentines but that's not happening....maybe this one....

This one is much easier, just wrap the paper around a Twinkie and add a big googlie eye.  Thanks for stopping by!

Memories

Isn't this the most beautiful place in the world.  It certainly is to me, this is a spot just a 1/4 from where I grew up.  I am posting this today because I am also missing my sweet daddy, he has been gone 10 years today.

Seasonal Sayings

Whenever I am shopping I am always looking for things to alter or use for treats.  I came across these Push Pop holders and bought a package several months ago.  I filled it with Hershey's Kisses.  I took the push part out for the photograph and one of the kids said it looked like a robot....I might just have to make a robot next.  I think a mini cupcake would fit in them as well.  Thanks for stopping by!
