Bridal Shower Invitations

I didn't have enough to do so I took on a Bridal Shower as well, but that's ok because I do like being busy!  This is the invitation which I kept simple since I have 150 to make.  She also wants a "Words of Wisdom" card as well as a Recipe  Card that will be included with the invitation.

I used the Cups and Kettles die set to cut the spoon and fork, the mom of the bride will pick up the samples tomorrow, hope she likes them.  Thanks for stopping by!

Prom Swag

Hope your weekend was good, ours was awesome.  We went to see  a Mary Poppins musical put on by the high school students. It was very well done and my kiddos are still singing the songs.  I think Dalton enjoyed it most, he even bought one of the Mary Poppins hats(his dad wasn't pleased that he was wearing a "girl" hat but he didn't tell Dalton that).  My Shelby is a Junior this year and I am helping with After Prom, this is one of the samples I made for putting their "swag in".  I also made a larger one but the photo didn't turn out very well.  The theme is Enchanted Forest so the Woodland Embossing folder was perfect and their colors are different shades of blue and purple.  I have to make 400 of these so I will be a little busy the next few weeks.  Thanks for stopping by!

Get Well Soon

I made this card with the  Treat Bag die for a sweet lady in my Sunday School class who fell and broke her hip and is now home from her surgery.  I  will hand deliver it along with some meals for her freezer to help out a little while she recovers.  I am also going to add a gift card to a restaurant that will deliver as well.

This is the insert, I made it a little longer than I usually do because the backside of the DSP that I used for the envelope clashed with the card.  Thanks for stopping by!

Rose Wonder

I think this stamp and die set is my favorite from the Occasions catalog, hopefully it will carry over since I haven't got to use it as much as I want to.  For this one, I mounted the die cut on a lighter piece of card stock and cut around it.  I also used Wink of Stella on but it doesn't show up well in the photograph.  Thanks for stopping by!

In the Meadow

Aren't these deer precious!  We live in a subdivision just outside of town and behind our house is a meadow that has a small pond on it and there have been six deer living there for over a year.  Every morning they make their way to our back yard and eat grass, the kids really enjoy seeing them and try to sneak up on them to get a picture but the deer  are too observant and always take off.  One day about two weeks ago I noticed that the smallest one had a wound to its back side and it was limping and  had been bleeding.  I think someone must of wounded it with either an arrow or a gun.  I was going to buy some shelled corn to put out where it could find it but then we haven't seen it with the others so I think it may of died.  Anyway, I love how this card turned out.  This stamp set, In the Meadow, also has some other very pretty trees and rocks that I am going to use to make a scene with soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Princess

Today I have the lovely Snow White to share.  I bought these stamps while on vacation last year in Florida but can't remember where I bought them. I had intended to use them to scrapbook Disney World pictures but that hasn't happened yet, I am only about 8 years behind on scrapbooking!

I worked on samples yesterday to have on hand for when someone comes in to book a kids birthday party.  This same design will be used as the invitation.

It will hold about 8 candy kisses or two mini candy bars or small jewelry.

You Brighten My Day

Yesterday was the 4 year anniversary of the Leap Day tornado that hit our town and took the lives of 8 people and the homes of many and today we woke to wind, thunder, lightning, hail, and rain.  The first thing my kids asked was are we going to have another tornado.  I needed some sunshine this morning so I pulled out the Sunburst thinlit die and made this card.  The sentiment is from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set.  Thanks for stopping by!
