Milk Carton Easter Basket

Is it spring yet? No, the snow is coming down and many inches of snow predicted for today. But I am in a Spring mood, Iam ready forwarm weather. Today I have a cute little basket which holds two milk cartons all decorated up for Easter. I love this Milk Carton Die, I will be getting a lot of use out of it for sure. The bunny nor chicks are SU but I will make another one all SU soon since I found my stamps, seems when I clean up my room I can't find anything. The fence is a MS punch and the grass is a strip of fringed Certainly Celery. The milk cartons are So Saffron and Rose Red.

Butterfly Birthday

Good evening, hope you have a good day! Today I am sharing a birthday card with butterflies made using the Beautiful Wings embosslit die from the Occasions mini catalog. The flower image is from the stamp set, Messages for Mom. The colors of the butterflies are Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, and So Saffron although the Rose Red looks like Real Red in the photo. I bought this set for the flower image, I just love it and enjoyed coloring it with Copics. The DP is from the Sweet Pea paper pad. Thanks for stopping by.

Easter Blessings

These are one of my favorite flowers, not just because of their beauty but I know when I see them start to bloom Spring is near. Our weather has been so crazy around here this season and I saw some of the daffodil stems peeping through the ground in my yard, I sure hope the weather doesn't mess them up so that they don't bloom when they are supposed to. The stamps for this card are from the set, Abundant Hope, available in Occasions mini.

I mailed round 1 & 2 0f the Ribbon Share today, also mailed out the kits that were ordered between Jan 20 & 25. Follow your Heart

Good Tuesday morning! I have a Valentine card for you today. Don't you just love this beautiful glittered paper from the Sending Love collection. It's hard to pick a favorite pattern from the pack, they are all pretty. I used a sentiment from the Whimsical Words stamp set which is a Sale-a-bration item, love the font in this set. Another favorite is the Heart of Hearts embosslit die. Gotta go, I have Baby Dalton and he is very "needy" today, he is teething and he thinks if I am holding him all is good.

Another Bird House

I love how this little bird house turned out, it is actually a little box and the roof comes off and has a lid attached inside it. I plan to use it as a little treat or gift box but it would also be cute to hold birdseed for a wedding. I found a very good video tutorial for this here. I have to admit it is time consuming but it is well worth it. Both my girls are getting room makeovers this Spring and they both want one of these in their room and Shelby has decided she wants a kind of outdoor theme with birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. Bird House

Good morning! It seems like Monday since the kids were out of school yesterday. Today I have a cute little bird house made using the Fancy Favor die, I have seen a lot of these around using the Milk Carton die but I needed something a little bigger. I just love the Two-step Bird punch. I used the Square Scallop die for the roof and then ran it through with an embossing folder to make it look more like wood. I know my roof is a little crooked, I think Miss Sadie got hold of it before the glue dried. I will probably use this as a favor box for a birthday, we go to a birthday at least once a week. You may see a few kids birthday cards here since I have got to replenish my stash since I used my last one Saturday.

Hope you are having a good Monday! Is it too early to make an Easter card? I don't send out very many Valentines and I have made several already so I thought I would do an Easter card for today. I love the Shades of Spring DP from the Occasions mini, they certainly get you thinking of Spring. I used Orchid Opulence and Certainly Celery card stock and cut the butterfly with the SU Beautiful Wings embosslit. It doesn't show up very well but the orchid circle where the butterfly is was embossed using the Perfect Details texturz plate.

Wandering Words

Good Sunday afternoon! Whew, what a busy weekend..Shelby had Traveling Team Basketball Thursday after school and then All Stars practice after that and then on Friday evening both girls had a scouting event to go to. Saturday morning Sadie had a basketball game at 10:00 and Shelby had one a 12, then they went to a skating birthday party at 2:00 and then had a friend to stay the night after the party. We went to church this morning, had lunch and then Shelby left for a Night at the City Museum. Between running these girls around and cleaning up the mess we have had at our house, I have had little time for stamping. I do have a project I managed to get done late last night, this is a Valentine using the stamp set Wandering Words which is no longer available since it was in the Holiday Mini but I did use current paper and embellishments. I also made a little mailbox since the card has a mailbox on it, it is by sticking two nuggets together and wrapping DP around it. I saw this idea on Becky Roberts, Inking Idaho blog last year and thought it was really cute. Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Treat

I have been playing around with the Sweet Treat cups, I won't show you all my discards. I wanted to be able to access the candy without tearing up the card. Well after several attempts I think I have it. I didn't want to be limited to putting the treat only as far up on the card as the punch would reach, and finally it hit me, use the Movers and Shapers die! Now I don't have the Heart Shaper(I will be ordering it!) so I used the Curly Label which took a little extra work but for now it will have to do. The blue heart is attached to a piece of card stock that can be pulled in and out to allow the candy to be taken out of the hold in the back side.
